Father's Day TSV Susan Graver

Was surprised that today's TSV on Father's Day was Susan Graver clothes. You'd think that QVC would have come up with something more suited to honoring Father's Day. The role of Father's is very important to the well being of children as many research studies have shown .

@skatting44 I haven't seen many clothing for men on Q and it wouldn't arrive to celebrate today even if a TSV today.

Probably "cook out/food shows during the afternoon. Not sure Dad's watch much QVC.

@skatting44 I would think QVC is well aware of the role of fathers.

They are in sales. If you waited until today to buy a Father's Day gift, you would be quite late.

To prepare for Father's Day gifting, QVC has had Ninja grill, Rastelli's steaks, La-Z-Boy recliner, Legxercise, Corky's, etc. All good gifts, if one is so inclined.

By the way, Susan Graver is frequently the Father's Day TSV. I know she was in 2022, not sure about 2023 though.

I'm sure ITKWD will have plenty of Father's day wishes and or products available for dad.

You know how they always say put a note in the card that "it's coming" LOL!

Not surprised at the TSV as all the dads I know have zero interest in the Q. Also not surprised its SG, I'm not impressed by another too long of a mesh cardigan with another tank with too big of an armhole, yawn......

@skatting44 Agreed - nothing about this tsv says Father's Day Celebration for the man or men in our lives.

SG is reaching on this one, yet another cardi and tank.

Don't we all have ENOUGH of these hanging in our closets? I know I do or used to until I stopped buying them. Through the years I've given SO many away. I just don't wear these cardigans anymore. I surely do not any more.

I think that many people, including QVC employees and their vendors, want to spend time with the fathers in their lives on Father's Day. But the show must go on. There are vendors that agree to work on holidays, I think grateful for the success that QVC has afforded them. Susan and Kim are 2 that comes to mind. QVC can count on them. There were days throughout my 50 plus years of employment where I "took one for the team". When asked who can help on whatever holiday when nobody really wanted to, there were those including myself who volunteered. I am certain that many of you can relate.

I agree. All SG's tops are sooo long. Doesnt matter they come in petite-theyre still too long. Im geting bored with the Q.

Dad may not be interested in watching but people who do may see something dad would like and order for him.

I have given my husband several gifts from QVC over the years and he likes and uses them all. My husband still has a Craftsman tool set I purchased for him from QVC many years ago.

I fgure what they show and how they show it absolutely, absolutely :-) is sales driven. This TSV is from the number one fashion brand for women at the Q... so maybe it is directed at women wanting to treat themslves after spending on the Father's day celebrations or maybe single mom's that do double duty.

My guess is, the real Father's Day driven TSV was presented when they could sell it as a father's day present and get in time for Father's Day gift.

Marketing it's all about the sale. :LOL

I knew it was going to be Susan Graver so there is nothing in her collection that I would expect would honor Father's Day.

What did surprise me was how hot that very long with long sleeves set looked to me all in her liquid knit. I was hoping for something with a more natural fabric for the heat and humidity that so many experience across the country this time of year.

I'm not a fan of any those prints .This set is an easy pass for me.

Irrespective of the fact that a Father's Day gift would likely be bought many weeks earlier , they could have had something a man could use or be interested in instead of women's clothes . I would not even wear today's SG TSV .

I have seen QVC have male models wearing Mens PJ's and David & Rick show the shoes .

To the poster who said what I'd suggest , well how abt sports gear for Tennis or Pickle ball or golf ?

Maybe Elise Ivey can bring some pickle ball gear they can sell.

In years past I bought various tools or gagets for my Husband .

I doubt fathers or their families are sitting around the tv on Father's Day (FD) watching a shopping channel.

Many are going out for dinner, having back yard BBQ's or spending the day celebrating in other ways.

Those sitting in front of the tv are not looking for FD gifts. It is way too late for that. QVC has been offering FD gifts for the past month or so.

Susan Graver clothing is probably a good bet. It targets women who are more likely to be watching QVC today.

the cardi is mesh not liquid knit. Cooler to wear. But the long sleeves and extra layer would still be stifling, at least where I live

@skatting44 My mom has watched QVC since day 1, truly. I know my dad has never turned on QVC, he may see it when my mom is watching but I have never seen him sit and watch any QVC.

If anyone is waiting to see Father's Day items, they are a little late to the game. We all know it takes an average of 10 days to receive items.

My parents are coming over today to celebrate Father's Day. I can guarantee my dad would not have any interest in QVC even if the items were suited for his tastes. He will want to watch the baseball games. Oh, and I don't believe he even knows who Susan Graver is.
