90 Day Fiance anyone???

Did anyone watch last night's episode. Looks like they added another couple to the mix. The 33 y/o guy and the girl from the Philipines. He has two boys (10 & 6) and an ex-wife, who I thought was his mother.

Any thoughts????

I caught an episode yesterday. I don't think that the Colombian (?) lady who stayed in the hotel before meeting the parents is going to fit in with the folksy family. She looked annoyed about having to stay in the brother's bedroom while her fiance slept in another room.

ITA - that relationship will not last. I think they'll get married so that she can stay in the USA (as will they all) but it looks like this guy is tight as a tick. He's already worried that his checking acc't is getting low - so how is he gonna make it when they are married. She just bought a pair of $200+ boots FHS...... And why is he still living at home. This plot should have been planned out before she got here. He should have ""rented"" an apt. or something so they could really get to know each other. His parents are nothing to write home about.

Things are desperate to have to put on a show like that one. Could American men actually not know that females who want to get into the country, pull desperate acts to do so. I mean they will be out any and all their money and their investments and retirement if those gals have their way. Then they move on to the next sucker who falls for their song and dance.

It's a reality show, so much of it is scripted.

Weird weird show. Question. If any of them get married & get divorced soon after, can the wife stay in the U.S.? Is she eligible for citizenship if they get divorced?

I watched. I'm doubtful that any of the women want to stick it out. I think the Russian gal is so pretty but she looks so young. I feel sorry for the one from the Phillipines having to deal with those boys and the ex-wife who looks like a real piece of work.

Well the guy with the kids is NO prize, either!! It used to be a couple had to stay married a year, maybe two?, in order for the spouse to apply for citizenship. I could look it up but I don't care enough.

I honestly don't see ANY of these couples getting married, or at least not staying married. And Paola comes from a very cosmopolitan area and I'm guessing if she had known what Oklahoma was like, she'd have taken a pass. Too much divergence and cultural differences. And his mom is another sourpuss IMO.

First the girls have to apply for a green card, and convince the authorities that the marriage is genuine and not purely for immigration purposes. There are interviews and a ton of paperwork.

Once you have a green card, it doesn't matter if you get divorced. You can still apply for citizenship. Marriage to a citizen means you can apply for citizenship after three years of residency; it's five years if you're not married to a citizen.
