I havent seen any discussions in a few weeks and I hate making threads but Ill give it another go.

Whats up with Robyn? She always has a mouth sore... yuck. I also thought it was ridiculous that they had her as the live model for the dress shopping. Why?! She has a totally different body type than the other wives. The dress is not gonna look the same on them.

Jenelle looked beautiful in the clothes she tried on at the plus size store they went to. Her hair also looked fantastic when they were all sitting on the couch to talk about the episode.

Any ideas on what might be wrong with Christines youngest?

I missed Janelle trying on the clothes but her hair is nice. I don't know why Robyn modeled but better her then me, it would be embarrassing to me just because I'm on the larger size. The clothes looked like all small sizes. I was so curious about Christines kid I looked online and supposedly it was some kind of kidney failure but she is ok now. I really can't even remember the wives names so I had to refer to your email. I know Robyn has brown hair and is the thinnest, and I did see something on her lip. The teen girls look like their moms, and the girl with the stubbed toe is a brave little thing. So, interesting they don't talk about their intimate sessions with each other. Kinda hard to believe, but possible. I would think Kody would have a favorite. Hopefully he doesn't.

Oh Kodys favorite wife is the newest one. Robyn of course.. wow so it was kidney issues... eek. I wish Robyn would have left the baby with Kody. That was supposed their time away. Let him deal with the baby.

Its mind boggling to me that last week they were trying to figure out where to get money to pay for Moriahs college but theyre throwing themselves a ceremony for thousands of dollars. Ponderous.

Miserable66: I think it"s a bunch of baloney that they don't have the money for one thing and then splurge ridiculously on another. They do it for the drama of the reality series. They get their money from the network - otherwise, how in the world would they be able to afford all those houses, kids and nice cars?

They lost their credibility a long time ago as far as I'm concerned. I don't watch anymore because I think they are grossly misrepresenting themselves.

Robin must suffer with cold sores, it is rather hard to watch when she has her breakouts.

Miserables made some great points. I also thought Robin should have left the baby home because it was supposed to be a bonding trip for just the wives.

Why do I have a feeling they are making something out of Christine's baby's illness? She said the babies eyes crossed and so she rushed her to the hospital. Hope everything is alright with her...if this is a manipulation...not cool.

Kody is a creep, a jackass, and a control freak. Why any of those women would want to be married to him is beyond me; possibly they have low self-esteem and think they can't do any better. Believe me, ladies, you can.

He really was startled by the conversation about how to pay for college for all the children. He stated emphatically that if they wanted to take out loans and borrow money, "I can't support that". Then one of the wives chimed in with something like, "they'd be adults and don't have to do want you say; how are you going to react if they go ahead and borrow money anyway?"

I think it had never occurred to him that those kids can grow up and NOT be under his control any more. I hope it gives him plenty to think about.

Honest to God, I do NOT understand what those women see in him.

I watched it and thought it was a complete waste of time for them to go to San Fransisco looking for dresses. And why was Janelle saying an XL shirt probably wouldn't fit her when it was skin tight. It seems she'd be happy to wear an XL after once wearing a 4X.

I really like Jenelle. She is my favorite. I am glad to see her putting herself first and losing the weight for her own health and happiness. She does have lovely hair.

I think when you have had weight issues and have lost weight(a lot in her case)you really have a hard time believing just how much you have truly lost. That and the fact she was going to have to try that top on...on air was probably pretty intimidating. She is more then likely fragile right now and would have been embarrassed if it didn't fit.

I never thought about the possibility that it may not fit. I'm sure you are right. I wonder why they even put that part on the air?

OnDemand must be one show behind or something because I just saw a preview of Robyn trying on a dress. Shouldn't the issue of a fifth wife been decided before buying the four houses? Guess that would have been too rational for this bunch of nitwits.

I think Kody is totally creepy too. He is only legally married to Meri so I don't why the others call themselves "wives". I'd rather be single than to have to sleep with him once a week.

That whole THING is weird. I've only seen bits/pieces of that show. I find polygamy WEIRD in general. It's a self serving ego trip for the guys. What exactly do the women get out of it? Oh right, to serve their man and blah blah blah. Wow, nice hopes and dreams!

I'm not sure I understand your question correctly about the XL size , but she thought it would be *too small* for her, not too big.

She was right. It did fit a bit too tight.

I found it really interesting, and very telling, how extremely sensitive they were about hearing each other have discussions with Kody.

They were very uncomfortable just being near one of them talking to him on the phone.

IMO, it just showed that they have to virtually NOT see, think, or hear about each other having a relationship with Kody ...because they would be riddled with jealousy if they had to actually face those things.

It's not natural for women to share a partner and, for me, this really proved it. They are living in total denial.

They try to cover up their unhappiness and jealousy but it's bubbling right under the surface.

I'm hit and miss on the show, but did notice they all drive nice vehicles with leather interior. And nice homes. A lot of us (and our parents) made material sacrifices for college. Hmmm.

Just wondering -- are the sister wives in the compounds more comfortable with plural marriage than modern sister wives? Seems like the compound ladies have abandoned all hopes of self happiness and it would take less to make them happy. Not that this is the answer, but modern sis wives have a foot in both worlds.

What would be interesting is if Janelle, almost empty nester, turned her focus to job, health, yoga, special private time, some great jewelry and new clothes - continuing to look fabulous. How would the other wives react to someone who gave themselves a make over and seemed happy? Would Kody change his favorite wife, or would he feel he was losing control?
