Model Katia just won the title in the Mrs. New Jersey Pageant

She and I have been in touch for some 12 years, so I made the trip from Phoenix to New Jersey to attend the pageant and finally meet her. I watched the Miss America Pageant faithfully every year, and it was so exciting to attend one.

Wow.....I didn't know! She's the only true runway model at QVC. But she has a gorgeous face. And a voice! I love the way she sings. Very talented. If they had a talent competition, I'm sure she sang. Thankful she's away from the terrible things in Hati (her home country) Katia Biassou is her full name.

How wonderful you were able to attend!

She is beautiful and seems so nice. She's always on Kim's shows and I wondered why she isn't there tonight. Can't think of a better reason to miss the show!!

I’m wondering If Kim will mention her winning on air tonight. Kim was her biggest cheerleader and that’s how I found out many months ago that Katia was competing in the pageant. Kim would have her practice her wave and I’m sure Kim offered Katia some priceless advice being a pageant winner herself. Kim mentors the women entering the various Georgia pageants.

Ah! Is that why she isn’t modeling Kim’s clothes tonight? I was missing her. I’m not surprised she won. I think she is so beautiful. She is one of my favorite QVC models, and I always love seeing her model the different outfits.

@songbird There was no talent competition, just a bathing suit competition along with a question/answer segment. She aced that last one!

She's well deserving of the title. Plus, it's not all exterior beauty. She appears to have an equally lovely personality, as well.
