      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do not purchase iems at full price.&amp;nbsp; or sale price.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I did.&amp;nbsp; then 2 days after saw on tv for less aabout $28.00 less.&amp;nbsp; Call customer service who saw it on line and said I would get a adjustment.&amp;nbsp; Never mentioned&amp;nbsp; it being a sale or clearence item.&amp;nbsp; Now they said no adjustment.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;here are my options.&amp;nbsp; retun it less the shipping reorder it with the lesser price plus the shipping.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;being a customer sincce 2001 have never had this experience.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Worked in retail and if the customer brought the item with their receive soon, days not months&amp;nbsp; we would adjust their price.&amp;nbsp; Just good business.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;QVC used to give you a price adjustment if price went lower &amp;amp;&amp;nbsp; you called in 30 days. What are they telling you about your utem?&amp;nbsp; Are you saying if its clearance they won't adjust?&amp;nbsp; This will just add to returns if you send back &amp;amp; re buy (and the returns are slow as can be now).&amp;nbsp; Is this a new policy?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Q WAKE THE HECK UP!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is up there with the dumbest changes ever.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if the buyer returns it, you will be reselling it at a lower price anyway&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if the buyer returns it, you are adding to you return process/loss&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if the buyer is mad and gone for good&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;most resellers offer price adjustments within reasonable timeline with no regard to why it was marked down.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Q....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;get one of your bean counters to pull the adjustments for last rolling year.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;compare that to what if 50% were returned instead.&amp;nbsp; and don't forget to factor in losing 10% of the customers if adjustments were denied.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;work the numbers and get back to us by thursday.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;This is my theory, (for what it's worth or not).&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;About a month or two ago, some nice poster mentioned that she had called and gotten a refund on an item that had been reduced after she had purchased it and she was able to get credit.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Others talked about how it seemed to be happening a lot and was strange how some things were reduced a lot even the next day after being at a higher price.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Some said they watched and routinely called to get a credit.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Others like me were not aware or didn't really notice this but glad to know of it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Some reported back, including me how after reading about this we were able to get credit for the difference in what we paid and the now lower price.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;I wonder if so many started calling in or emailing and getting credit, that QVC realized this was not such a great idea and the policy was changed to no credit would be given for an item now on sale or clearance etc. Then when would credit be given? Never? What else would you call a lower price? &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;And why were prices in some cases reduced so drastically, seemingly all of a sudden. Was it because the overpriced item was not selling, or sold at the high price and not many left so they needed to get rid of it? Who knows?!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;What it ends with is many unhappy customers. It always makes someone feel bad to see what they paid for yesterday is now&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;reduced so much. Unless the color or size they wanted is now sold out and they got the one they wanted even at a higher price&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Just seems another example of QVC making a not very profitable decision, while thinking they are making one.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Just like a restaurant keeps being successful-good food, good prices, creative and attractive marketing, treats employees well, so do for the most part, other types of businesses. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;Or they don't and continually make bad decisions, and don't succeed.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;O recently bought an area rug from Target.&amp;nbsp; It was $419.&amp;nbsp; Two days later, when the next weekly ad/Target Circle Deals came out, it was $293.&amp;nbsp; I called CS and he said since it was a Target Circle Deal, he couldn't do a price adjustment.&amp;nbsp; I told him the deal wasn't available when I purchased the rug and that I'm a Target Circle member.&amp;nbsp; It didn't matter.&amp;nbsp; Went to the store.&amp;nbsp; The guy at the return counter was very nice, didn't question and didn't question anything.&amp;nbsp; Returned the rug and re-purchased it.&amp;nbsp; I Think customer service, especially via phone, is lacking these days.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

At Macys, they were wise to this gambit &amp;amp; used to hold returns in the back for 3-4 days.&amp;nbsp; I worked there for a time &amp;amp; had access to the back rooms so would go in &amp;amp; get it &amp;amp; buy it before it went back on the floor.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;This is hard to do with shipping fees both ways.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Never? What else would you call a lower price? &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;And why were prices in some cases reduced so drastically, seemingly all of a sudden. Was it because the overpriced item was not selling, or sold at the high price and not many left so they needed to get rid of it? Who knows?!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;What it ends with is many unhappy customers. It always makes someone feel bad to see what they paid for yesterday is now&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;reduced so much.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Whatever anyone thinks about whether the new policy is fair or not, one thing stands out to me:&amp;nbsp; it's completely ambiguous.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just for an example:&amp;nbsp; the way it's worded, it seems to say that, if you notice a lower price during the LTS hours and contact CS &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;then&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;, you'll get a refund of the price difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But, if you call &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;after&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;/EM&gt;those hours, you won't.&amp;nbsp; In other words, you have to contact them &lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;during&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;the special promotion timeframe&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, as several posters have reported they're being denied the price adjustment even then.&amp;nbsp; On the other thread, one poster shared verbatim what she was told by a member of the Social Team.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It seems to this longtime QVC customer, that it's not worth even trying to request a price adjustment anymore, as there are so many loopholes, it will be denied pretty much every time.&amp;nbsp; "OH...does the day have a "Y" in it?&amp;nbsp; Sorry, we don't issue price adjustments on those days!"&amp;nbsp; (Yes, I'm being sarcastic.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I definitely won't be buying anything from now on unless it's a really low price (and preferably with free shipping).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Perhaps we could get a lawyer to interpret the new "policy" for us?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Oh wow. I have been refunded a LOT of money over the years because I am always checking my items for lower current prices. I also think the new policy is confusing. One of my purchases recently was a lunchtime special and I was denied a price adjustment, which the policy seems to state they will do if requested during the LTS time frame. They need to spell out exactly when they WILL do a price adjustment. I have purchased a lot of clothing lately, and that has to stop. I am currently gathering a ton of clothes to donate, almost all from QVC. Some of the things I hardly ever wore. I need to make some changes in my life and stepping away from buying more than I need is one of them.</description>
