cocktail time anyone ?

I don't drink wine, but I do like a cocktail or two.

Do you have a favorite?

I drink a classic 007.

I rarely drink either. Don't like beer or wine. So, if I have a drink it's usually just Patron Silver Tequila on Ice with lots of lime.😃

Don't do a lot of these but when it's a night out or just feel like "cocktail time"...

My favorite cocktail is a dry martini, with olives, both up and on the rocks, depending on my mood. Sapphire Gin or Kettle One Vodka, but these days the vodka seems to have a less strong effect on me, so I favor those. Only one at a time! 🍸

I also like a "perfect" Bourbon Manhattan

And occasionally an Old Fashioned

Those are my favorites.

@ayla 34 What's an 007? Never actually heard of those...

Not a big drinker, but every now and then I like a frozen margarita, especially in the warmer months, or a glass of sangria. There's a restaurant not far from me that has a lovely outdoor cabana with live island music in the nice weather months. It's so relaxing to sit outside, under the cabana, in the warmer weather, enjoying a lunch or dinner, sipping on a cool cocktail while enjoying the music. There's something about listening to calypso music that transports me right to a tropical island. Could it be because I'm a Jimmy Buffett fan? Lol

Not being much of a drinker, I might have a Champagne Cocktail

when going out for dinner on my birthday or anniversary.

My very favorite drink is a Pina Colada while sitting on a pink sand beach in Bermuda.

We haven't been there since Covid.

I'm the opposite. Give me a glass of wine--red or white--or a light beer. I stay away from mixed drinks especially the sugary ones like a pina colada.

I agree about not liking the sugary mixers. That's why if I ever drink it's usually just the tequila with a ton of lime juice lol.

Love cocktails too!

My favorite is a margarita on the rocks with salt or sugar rim. Yum!

Lol, well duh...right after basically saying a "007" was my favorite cocktail, I then asked "what's a 007!" 🤦‍♀️🤣

Never heard them referred to like that, but I do know 007 always had them "shaken not stirred"...as I also like them.

When I was in my twenties and thirties it had to be a Whiskey Sour. My fav! Later in my forties it was a Cosmopolitan. Luv! And over the years I shared many, many Vodka Martinis with my MIL. For her it had to be Smirnoff Silver...90 proof vodka. 😲 Boy did we ever have some good times together! 😁

Now....I don't drink at all.

Good summer cocktail ...btw, if you love those and have them at home ever, try a good pure tonic like "Q-tonic" brand, without the fructose corn syrup most other bar tonics have...world of difference. More pure, refreshing.

I only drink a handful of times a year and when I do, it’s always a cocktail. I’ll look at the drink menu at a restaurant to see what specialties they have and often choose one of those. Otherwise it’s vodka and cranberry.
