Yes! A coin purse. Actually, very handy for keeping change, including dimes and quarters for phone booths, etc.

Anyone remember phone booths? Seems like a hundred years ago.

I always felt so grown up when I carried mine around. Never probably more than .20 cents in it but hey it was my spending money.

I still remember my first of these! I got a blue one in first grade to carry my lunch money coins. I felt so grown up!💝

I would keep my lunch money in one of those coin purses when I was in high school. Mine had a key chain attached to it which made it easier to carry.

It will be fun to order a few on Amazon......I'm wondering if a couple of credit cards would fit.

Also, would be cute if it had a clip or wrist strap.

Cute to hang on a handbag, just for fun, even though we wouldn't store credit cards into it. Maybe a tissue or two.

Yes, in fact there was a post a few weeks ago about our favorite posession from our long lost family.......several people mentioned these coin purses carried by grand parents

@beckyb1012 Thank you ! I might just buy a set on Amazon and use them to hold candy on the go again as a grown up !

Back in the day, I had one of those with a silver chain and a rabbit's foot attached to it. Today, PETA would be all over anyone that made them that way.

My dad used these to store loose change in his pocket.
