Funny you should post about Macy's. I've been looking at a pair of pearl earrings for several weeks now. Regular price is $200 and lowest price I've seen so far is $60. Just can't seem to pull the trigger and purchase them!

I've had a Macys gift card since Christmas and never found the "right" thing. When I saw the 15% rebate, I did the research and ordered a lovely memory foam bath rug and some Martha Stewart towels in a coordinating color.

They texted me this morning that my order has shipped! Yay!

@Tinkrbl44 Too funny. I also got a Macy's gift card for Christmas. I returned a pair of earrings that were too heavy and they refunded me with another gift card. I guess they can't put the funds back on the original gift card.

Well, the good news is that Macy's is always having sales so there are always chances to get a good deal.

Macy's is on most of the rebate sites, so you can get that, as well. When the 15% email came the other day, I decided to make my choice ... I can always return them if they don't work, but I'm hoping my goodies arriving Thursday are as nice as they appeared online.

(I DID go over to the store and check out various brands of towels, since I can't imagine buying something so important without the "feel test". The Martha Stewart towels were, by far, the very nicest in the linen department!).
