This made my day !

So I had a few things to pick up at the grocery store and cash in my lottery scratch off ticket for the $10 I won.

When I got to the check out there was 1 customer ahead of me checking out so I placed my items on the belt counter. As the checker finished bagging her groceries and started to scan my items I started wondering why the customer hadn't moved on so I could get to the card holder to scan and pay for my groceries but instead she put her card back in the scanner. Then I heard her tell the cashier she was paying for my groceries as well. I was blown away ! I started thanking her letting her know how much I appreciated that and with her permission I gave her a big hug. We smiled and she left the store.

What a Blessing !! So I then pulled out my $10 scratch off winning ticket, told the cashier I also wanted to cash in my ticket and she gave me the $10. Then a angel came to me and said "pay it forward!" With that said, when the cashier gave me the $10 I gave it right back to her and said this is for you. She smiled, thanked me and put it in her pocket.

What a blessed day and I do hope my forum friends here have had a blessed day as well.

That was indeed a wonderful blessing. Sometimes they come along just when you need them most. Such a great reminder of all the kind people in the world.

Thank you very much although I have had my days as we all have if you know what I mean.

It's all about treating each other as we all want to be treated. I'm just so glad that cashier was on duty today because she deserved that blessing. She has worked for that store for years and came out of retirement to go back to work. She's so nice and always has a smile no matter how her day is going. That whole thing was a set up by that Angel who told me to pay it forward !

@Goodie2shoes - You never know when you change someone's life! You received a blessing and you passed it on.

Around here, "pay it forward" is common at the Starbucks drive through. Someone will pay for the car behind them.

There are many angels here on earth, spreading hope and kindness.

We need more of these stories; bringing the "human" back to humanity.

This happens often here where I live, it always comes to mind that we're all instructed to love one another, spread kindness and pay it forward ♥️
