On JTV. Does anyone watch this program? I find it fascinating although I have no intention of making my own jewelry. The host is excellent--don't know her name.

I do watch it----I would love to learn how to make jewelry ----my DD does. I like Susan --the host--sometimes she gets a little carried away ---I can do very rudimentary things but nothing very creative. I do have a few strands of gemstone beads that are beautiful too.

I don't watch a lot but sometimes. I've ordered several items to have pliers and other tools to use around the house and to fix small problems with jewelry. Their products are very nice.

I've watched Jewel School on Jtv from time to time. They've been doing it for about 30 years. Always makes me want to take a class in jewelry making. I have the time now. Maybe I will. I have bought many pieces of jewelry from Jtv but in recent years, Shoplc is my go to for jewelry.

Just thought I would post a few pics of some jewelry I made in the 60's, 70's & 80's.

I made jewelry when I was a kid in Hawaii in the 60's. The guys working on telephone lines would give us phone wire.

Made earrings similar to these. Bought all the stuff I needed at the craft store.

Also made some macrame jewelry similar to this.

I used to use some fishing tackle when making jewelry too. Who knew.

@Nightowlz I had totally forgotten about wire jewelry! We would make it when I was a kid I think early 70s in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We would make rings with swirly designs on the top. I have no memory of where the wires came from. And no pictures 😢

I'd love to learn wire wrapping. My daughter did alot with silver jump rings and she actually made the jump rings from silver wire--made me a bizantine bracelet once as well as earrings and necklaces. We do have the tools and I bought her a set of 1 step loopers to make the loops in 1 step--duhh!!for this past Xmas.

I have bought alot of jewelry from JTV --I'd say 3/4 of it I kept and were exactly as shown and described--the other 1/4--well-- weren't so great and sent them back. I don't spend alot most times but did buy a lovely golden south sea pearl pendant in gold that had 3 moissinite stones on the bale-----as a congrats to me for my divorce being finalized----it is gorgeous.

I made a lot of different jewelry. I don't have pics of any of it. I found the above pics online of some things I made that look similar. I really liked the telephone wire with all the different colors it came in. I remember using a lot of different beads. It was fun.
