What is Dr. Oz thinking?

Today's show deals with psychics and angels. A few shows ago he had on some tv reality psychic who talks to dead people. It makes me really question what message his show is sending. It is getting more and more odd,

A lot of people believe in angels & such. I suppose he's just trying to appeal to a broad range of viewers. You don't have to watch it if you're not interested.

Yes, plus mind & spirit because they all work together. I'm neither condoning nor condemning him or his show, but I think this thread was started just as another bashing opportunity.

I stopped watching his show about 3 years ago. IMO, he thinks only of his ratings. Kind of sad, too, because he has a reputation of being an excellent cardiac surgeon. It seems to me that he is wasting his real calling. But, I don't know the man, so who knows?

I haven't watched Dr. Oz since his horrendous mis-information about MS. The MS Society was flooded after what he said.

However, spirituality, however you want to define it, has finally been considered important in healing. So be it. Angels, ok. Psychic? You have to be kidding me.

His health information to me comes across as very Enquirer/ Star magazine style. I do not doubt he is a good heart surgeon, but, I do doubt the way information is given out on the show... Weight loss miracles given out almost everyday. If not that then he is talking to dead people......

I'm not familiar with his daughter. Is she a doctor, too?

She's on a cheerful cooking show called The Chew. It's a fun, kind of mindless, show. I'm not sure what her background is actually.

I can see mind and spirit as a part of health, but he does seem to be stretching it from what others say.

I think she is adorable. I enjoy watching them all on "The Chew". Of course, Carla will always be my favorite.

I was unaware of this episode. I will be interested to look into it. MS has affected my family.

I was very disappointed when he said he let his wife make the choice against flu vaccinations for their children.

BTW, in the past short amount of time, the Bay Area has had 22 deaths from the flu. And this is an area where most people get the yearly shot.

A healthy young man of 23 died of the flu some days ago. No flu shot.
