I see him as being a loyal friend. I think he is hyper some days, and other days a great host. I prefer him hosting alone.

These comments are weird.

QVC hosts are just salespeople. They present products and try to convince you to buy. They are at work.

If they ran into you, they wouldn't know who you were.

These people are strangers, not your friend.

It's wise to keep reality/ real life and social media and tv personalities separate in your mind.

I don't think anyone is confused about real friends vs someone on QVC.

It seems unnatural to me to not either like or dislike someone

you may watch frequently.

What seems unnatural to me is not to have any feelings at all about them.

Just like you watch a movie or series and you get familiar with the characters. No one is expecting them to be part of their real world. Just enjoying them (or perhaps not).

@on the bay Sorry, I just can't get into loving or disliking strangers on tv, actors, musicians, etc.

I can and do enjoy watching them for entertainment, but just don't understand the personal attachments.

I can't form attachments to strangers. It's weird to me.

I do have empathy for others. I can put myself in their shoes, and I even help strangers, but people loving or hating people doing their job on tv and pretending they're friends. No.

@Carmie I don't see anyone "confused" here or not know they are salespeople. I think you're overreacting. Some appeal to us more than others and we enjoy watching their presentations of products. It doesn't mean we're in love with them or other nonsense. smh

Maybe you have read or know someone like that but I've never noticed that here.

Maybe you are mistaking people saying they like or love so and so for thinking they feel they are their friends. These are feelings and expressions many voice all the time.

You are making it seem like people are deluding themselves in some fantasy world of friendship. I think you are maybe misinterpreting people's expressions of "liking" or "loving" someone into thinking they believe they have real friends.

Like so many say oh they love George Clooney etc. Or they love Alberti. Or they don't etc.

All of a sudden I am thinking of that song by the Doors "People are Strange." Sometimes we all are strange to each other I guess.

And one person's post can seem odd to one and vice versa.

@on the bay When you have so many diverse people throughout the country on the board you get a ton of different views, opinions, feelings, and emotions.

It can be eye opening as most of the people in my life and those I interact with on a regular basis in my area are like minded.

Here, you see another side of things...good and bad.

@January121 Neither one of them allow another person to talk. They're always in the background saying "yes", "no", "uh huh", etc loudly so they can get their voice in the conversation.
