With 2 cats, a dog (all of whom shed) and a husband, dusting & vaccuming is an exercise in futulity...but I do it anyway, only to have the floors look like I haven't touched them the next day.

Husband and dog are in/out all day long, and dog swims/wades in pond, so it's not just dirt, it's water!

I do what I can, when I feel like it, and try not to worry about it the rest of the time!

Everything gets dusty but I find black furniture to be the worst. It shows dust from far away you can see it.I have always loved to do laundry ever since when I was a kid and my mom would take me down cellar with her to do laundry and and dishes is totally my thing to.with a dishwasher that is. But I don't mind hand washing what I can't put in the dishwasher. I a guy to.when my wife and I were moving in together I told her just so you know . I will be the one doing laundry. I got no argument there. She was thrilled that she wouldn't have to do it. And 24 years later I'm still the one that does it.

I enjoy doing laundry and hand washing dishes too.

It's the rest of it that I hate such as - Well, everything else!
