Toilet Paper Roll Over or Under

Just curious how the majority like their toilet paper to be hung (there is no wrong or right way)? I grew up in my parent's house where the paper came down. When I was old enough to put a roll on myself I hung it withe the paper coming down over the roll. I wonder if psychiatrists would say how you hang toilet paper has to do with your personality or mental state?

A psychiatrist would say it has to do with whether or not you have a cat. If you do, the wrong way is to roll it forward. Can you picture how much fun a cat would have rolling all the paper off the roll?

@Jordan2 I read somewhere, years ago, that when you roll the TP over you use less of it. So, I always roll it over but I have no idea if we use less that way or not.

On another note, we have the cutest pictures of our granddaughters getting caught with a roll of toilet paper all over them and around them. The pictures were enlarged and are in the bathroom. Super cute.

Over. During my childhood, it was under. After I married, my husband said over. I tried it, and it is much easier to use.

Over, when I put it out on the wall t.p. holder. I find it's easier to tear off that way.

And @kze, you're so right. It's easier for the cats but then they have their way with it no matter if it's been put on over or under. For that reason, the t.p. is currently being kept in the cabinet with a glass door in easy reaching distance.

@Jordan2 Picture it? I have lived it. I have owned four Siamese cats in my life. The other "normal" cats never bothered with it.

When you think a Siamese cat is lounging in the sun by the window, it is not. It is doing one of two things: Plotting, or laughing about what you haven't noticed yet.
