@deepwaterdotter Her name is RUBY! @On It She definitely deserved to get her stocking early. She waited patiently a long time just watching it & has never once bothered gifts or the tree lol

@cheriere You reminded me of a funny story. My little female Coton de Tulear never bothered our tree until.... My elderly aunt could no longer drive or shop, so she mailed my husband, son, and I checks for Christmas because we always spoiled her with gifts we sent. I put the unopened envelope under the tree. While we were gone one afternoon, that little girl chewed and destroyed the envelope containing the checks.

I called my aunt to wish her a Merry Christmas and to thank her for the checks. I told her what had happened to them. She laughed and laughed saying you have a new twist on the dog ate my homework. I was surprised to received another envelope with replacement checks. She said our story was the hit of the assisted living facility. She said that story was worth more to her than the checks.

@On It Oh my goodness, that's a GREAT story lol!!! Isn't that the way it would really happen though? I mean, just as soon as there's something like that under the tree it WOULD HAPPEN! Good thing it wasn't Cash! That'd be my luck lol I hope you don't mind if I share your story with a few relatives, it's that funny!

@Oznell Thank you so much 😊. I was a bit afraid the little Santa vest wasn't going to stay velcroed around her barrel lol. She's all muscle and can knock you down with a good run. It's just the way she's built lol. I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas as well.

@cheriere Feel free to share the story. I do not have any digital photos of her. I only have this one looking out the window of our vacation home.

She is the smaller dog on the left. They knew I was outside talking to the contractor. They had to keep an eye on me.

Awe little Ruby couldn't stand to wait one more minute to see what Santa brought her. After all, she was a very good girl. Merry Christmas Ruby.
