Good luck! IMO, paying extra for any shipping is just adding profit to the vendor.

@Sophia Foster. That shipping fee covers the transport part of the trip. However, it doesn't include the processing at the warehouse where they seem to handle it like a normal order.

It's always iffy to order a gift with an upcoming deadline online. There are too many variables. QVC shipping is pretty good but certainly not guaranteed.

I paid extra for a Barefoot dreams sweater to get delivered. Came by plane think it was. It got here

and I plan to use it again if I want something in couple of days instead of weeks.

@SharkE. You order enough clothes to know it doesn't take weeks to get them. All my many clothing orders in the last year have shipped in 3 days or less.

That is not the case for everyone. Q has the worst shipping and returns timing of any where I shop.

Unless they are flying it to you via private jet and dropping it on your doorstep by 7am on November 1, you have been duped. Chalk it up to live and learn. Shop when there is free shipping and keep your fingers crossed you won't have to return the item otherwise you'll be paying shipping back to QVC to return it. Just sayin. Hopefully your item will be worth it!

You order enough clothes to know it doesn't take weeks to get them. All my many clothing orders in the last year have shipped in 3 days or less.

-that is not true. To ship to the west coast it takes 7-8 days.

Then, shipping to Tx from the East takes awhile

Here's my question...(s/h thinking about it gives me a headache)

There are two parts to this journey...

order processing (by original place you ordered from?)

and then shipping (by stagecoach/airline/spaceship?)

the reason I ask is because for instance: last year ding Christmas I ordered a plaid Lug handbag and it was shipped by Lug company Eve tho I ordered it from QVC...it arrived quickly. I hope I'm rendering this correctly?

So, when a person orders, how does the person know who (which entity) will actually be shipping it? Or can that be known? Thx!

Until it ships, it can't be known. Unless QVC specifically states it will ship from vendor, like they sometimes do with computers.

Once you get tracking information you can see where the order originated and make an educated guess if it's coming from the vendor.

In the case of Lug, they are always shipped from the vendor in Canada so the tracking starts showing up when the package gets to Buffalo NY.

Wishing you good luck with that. Premium never worked for me. I did it a few times around Christmas and it was a waste of my money.

Mine, too...seems like it's more often 5-7 days. But it still doesn't take "WEEKS" to arrive!

For Los Angeles, add 2 more days to that. I don't order much.
