Twins Marry Twins

In a unique case, twins married twins and only a few months apart had twin sons.

Twin sisters Brittany and Briana are not only married to another set of twins, Josh and Jeremy Salyers, but both couples live in the same city, Virginia, and both became mothers within months of each other.

In January 2021, Josh and his wife Brittany welcomed Jett Salyers, their first child. Only a few months later, in April, Jett and Briana could see Jax Salyers, the couple’s youngest son. Both marriages uploaded their respective births on their Instagram profile.

The interesting thing was what they saw after being able to live together. Jax and Jett are cousins, but technically they have a peculiarity that few human beings have: Their genes are those of two brothers.

According to the parents, their children are ” Cousins, genetic brothers, and quaternary twins “, as they commented on their networks. In an image shared on their profile, both couples pose next to each other and show their little ones that they are identical.

Since both parents from both marriages are identical twins, they also have identical DNA, meaning they could pass for the same person. The fact that they have had a child, their first and of the same sex gene, makes Jett and Jax technically brothers.

Many Internet users have proposed doing DNA tests to prove their point, but the parents argue that there would be no case. Having genetics on their side is ” more than obvious the result .”

They also all live in the same house together. My question is can the twin sisters tell their husbands apart and vice versa? Also can the kids tell their mom/aunt and dad/uncle apart?

I don't think the little boys look exactly alike nor the sisters either but the husbands sure do.

My grandmother and her sister were married to brothers. Those cousins all looked very much alike--and my mother looked more like a cousin than her sisters. And they were always best friends.

I have identical twin girls. Their children could always tell who their mom was . One time the girls tried to trick the kids, but no go. What is weird is they both had girls first birth,, but 5 years apart. They looked alike. Still today people ask them if they are sisters or twins. My daughters married non twins , but their daughters look alike.

Lovely pictures! The part of the story that is freaky to me is that in addition to being first cousins, with 2 different sets of parents, the boys are also genetic brothers.

I think it's weird that they named the babies Jax and Jett and dress them alike. They're trying to "make" them twins when they're not.

Growing up our neighbors were twins that married twins.

They built the houses that were in our neighborhood. They also lived around the corner from our house. Their houses were next to one another.

They were quite successful. They were building Bobby Rydell's house. I was playing with one of their daugther's and they asked us if we wanted to see Bobby Rydell's house. We declined because Bobby Rydell wasn't our speed at the time.

I spent many hours at their house, even went to Hebrew school with my girlfriend. (I wasn't Jewish). And I was allowed to drink soda at her house. What a treat.

At the time it didn't seem like a big deal to me that they were twins married to twins. My scope was rather limited at the time. But looking back, the fact they grew up together, worked together and lived next door to one another. It was a big deal.

My niece has identical twin boys. When one had a daughter & she was very young, they wanted to see if she knew the difference between her father & uncle. They dressed exactly alike & rang the doorbell & didn’t speak. Her mom answered the door carrying the baby, she went right to her father without hesitation.

When they tried their iPhones with pic ID, they could unlock each other’s phone. So the human was more accurate than technology in this case.

2 of my best friends since 3rd grade are identical twins , I could always tell them apart, others never seemed to though . We 3 looked alike , certainly not identical like them , but we are of the same coloring , size , height etc. and we were always together so I guess it was easy to think it. I remember my parents always referring to them as "the twins" not by there names unless they were speaking directly to them . And I guess in those days at least where I lived twins were are rare thing !

we are still very best friends and so are our children .

this is sure interesting , twins marrying twins, and boys that are actual cousins and brothers , wow !

@Kitty Galore So you were like triplets in a way! How cool! We also have twins in the family & they are also referred to as "the twins" most of the time. I had to laugh at your last sentence....for soap opera fans "boys that are actual cousins & brothers" are pretty common in their storylines.
