Another Musician Gone

Gary Wright, who sang "Dream Weaver" and "Love is Alive" passed away yesterday from Parkinson's Disease and dementia. He was 80. He joined Ringo Starr's All-Starr Band in 2008.

I listen to Sirius Yacht Rock radio in the car, and they've been playing "Dream Weaver" a lot all summer.

Dream Weaver has been a real favorite of mine since it first came out!!! I also love Love is Alive. He was so gifted and he will be missed very much. Another sad loss....

I know, since I've reached "that age" when all our rockers are aging, that we'll start losing all my old favorites but it sure is sad.

Oh that is so sad, he was such a big part of my teenage years in the late '70's.

This is sad news for me as I always loved his music. What beautiful music he sang . RIP.
