Received an email this morning at the correct email address for Amazon...

"Your Prime has expired......renew now!"

Actually expires in May!!

Did you send a copy to Amazon?

They can verify if it's an actual mail fraud or just an error.

I believe the email address is 'phishing@Amazon.com.

I have also received those! They are not generated/sent by Amazon.

One can click on the title of the email and see that the sender is some garbled letters and not Amazon!

Once in a while I get a robo call claiming to be from Amazon needing an authorization for an expensive purchase of a mobil phone and to call a certain telephone number. No activity on my account, scam for sure.

My account with Amazon has been shut down multiple times. Funny, I can still order from them.

It's not that they have your Amazon e-mail address as in they've hacked it. Those kind of pfishing schemes just use random e-mail generators.

It is a long time phishing scam. It isn't from Amazon. The scammers send out millions with the intent of getting credit card numbers, account numbers etc.
