Once in a blue moon...........

A rare lunar phenomenon

The Blue Supermoon will illuminate the sky on August 30th. This occurrence of a second full moon in one month, orbiting close to the Earth, happens only once in a decade.

Since this Supermoon is so abundant — so overflowing with vitality and power — what is needed is not to draw more things in, but rather to release.

Time to detoxify. Time to release toxins, bad habits, and all things that no longer serve you.

I've been trying all evening to see it but I'm not having any luck. It's kind of special to me as growing up anything that didn't happen often my Dad would say "it's once in a blue moon" So in honor of him I've been hoping to see it and remember my Dad!!

I looked all over for it. No moon at all (isn't that a song? lol) My GD is due any minute and we were all thinking this phenomenon would start something but she still is preggers this morning, darn it. I read somewhere it is also visible tonite so I'm still hoping. Plus, I want to SEE it!!!! I don't believe it was cloudy last night so are the charts wrong???

I saw it!!! Six o'clock this morning. So big. So bright. I couldn't help myself. I had to sing it. Blue Moon. You saw me standing alone, etc. hahaha It wasn't blue, tho.

I saw it later on in the night. Not so large but very bright.

The closer to the horizon at moonrise the larger it will look.

A " Blue moon" is a second full moon in the Same Month.

Blue moons are not blue.
