Neck fan advice

Looking for a neck fan. So many choices. Any advice from those who know or who own one would be appreciated. I want quality and one that is rechargeable. I usually buy on Amazon, but it gets really confusing trying to sort them out.

I was going to suggest the neck fans that I purchased for the family last year, but I found that the ones that I bought are sold out.

There's some really nice ones on Amazon--nicer than the ones that I bought. Our fans don't have the little holes all the way around. I think that I would choose a fan with the holes on the back of the neck, as well.

Our fans have a light on the end, but we rarely use that feature. I see that some of the fans have an led screen so that you know when the fan's power is about to run out. Ours don't have that, and that would be a nice feature so that you're not surprised out in the yard that your fan just went out.

Our fans last a long time on a charge--depending on what speed you use. I personally crank my neck fan to the max, and it lasts about an hour out in the yard. They are great to scare away insects.

Our neck fans take several hours to recharge, and we run ours until they quit.

I never leave home without one. I get so hot and stuffy at doctors offices, movie theaters, restaurants, etc.

I bought this one off Amazon that is rechargeable. Excuse the big font.

@bonnielu , I have the Jisulife brand that I bought from Amazon. Mine is rechargeable but not adjustable.

@GenXmuse , is yours silent? Mine is not loud but I can hear the fan enough that I don't think I could use it in movie theaters etc.

My husband doesn't hear it when he's seated next to me at the movies. We tend to go to movies when it's not crowded though,

I used it during Hamilton and Book of Mormon shows this year and was seated right next to a stranger and they didn't notice it. I did keep it on low since it was packed. I also used it on the plane.
I do get a lot of comments from people who want to get one when they see it and I explain what it is. Lots of waitresses and checkers especially.

You could always try it and send it back if you find it too loud.

It's hot in Texas. I attended an outdoor concert recently and I knew it would be triple digits so I brought an inexpensive neck fan that I already had (HSN - around $30). It did help but there was no air conditioning, of course. It just blew air at my neck. It stopped after a couple of hours and the concert was very long.

I came home and ordered one of the actual neck air conditioners. It's the Torras Coolify 3 Limited Edition. They had a coupon on the Torras website for 20% off so I bought it. I haven't received it yet.

Well I'll be. I have a horrible face sweating problem, my makeup slides right off my face so I'm giving it up for the rest of the summer. Thanks for the photo. I'm definitely checking this out.

@depglass They're gaining in popularity. I thought I would feel strange wearing one at the outdoor concert but I kept running into other people who were also wearing them. I want to be able to wear mine for jogging but I'm not sure if that will work. It would certainly work for brisk walking but I'm not sure if jogging will make it bounce around on my neck too much. I'm excited to get it but I think it will take another week to get here.
