UPS (again)

They must not have gotten news of the settlement and awakened this morning ready to bust their butts to get packages delivered. I had some scheduled for tomorrow and Thursday. They all came today, nine orders of clearance stuff with four in one box. Took two trips to get it all inside. Plus a box of candles.

Guess they wanted to get as much as possible delivered. Got some pretty things but nothing to look forward to now.

They may twiddle their thumbs the rest of the week.

Anyone else get a bounty today?

YIKES!!

A box of candles?!?! I know that you have been reporting that your area is a blast furnace for many days. Were the candles in good shape? I was envisioning a box of wax soup with floating wicks!

Our weekend forecast calls for 90-100 degrees and oppressive humidity and dew points. I'm going out tomorrow to get all my food shopping done so that I can

hunker down in front of the A.C.

No twiddling of thumbs at UPS. They will dissolve routes. Some drivers will work a 8(+) hour day & some will have the day(s) off.

I have a package that says out for delivery today. It's almost 6pm. Sure hope it comes today since it was supposed to be here last Friday but was delayed somewhere. May have to put on the porch lights.

@Kachina624Im still at work,but I got notification that I recieved my Q package and Lands End.Not sure if It was mail,UPS or Fedex.I did hear on the news,that UPS came to a agreement

I;m expecting a shipment from Zulily sometime this week from UPS, I was worried that it wouldn't arrive before the deadline.

@Kachina624 that was good speedy service.

I have QVC Irish dish towels coming next Weds and QVC Christmas stretched canvas this Thurs, hopefully won't be any issues then.

Amazon shipping boxes tomorrow for work.

7:15 p.m. Three packages to be delivered by 2 p.m., then 4 p.m. then 7 p.m. One has disappeared from the UPS site, two are still listed, but the little truck on the map disappeared more than two hours ago.
