Last Sunday it was elk. Yesterday afternoon the wild horses decided it was their turn on the soccer field.

@spiderw The last time the herd was at this location was March 9, 2023. I truly believed that they had been captured, but they are here running free. We found them a week or so ago on the back side of our mountain. They finally completed their roaming journey.

I will try not to panic between visits. I wonder how far they travel in four months.

I love to see animals like this.

Where I live in Wisconsin, we have deer but there's enough wooded areas around here where they don't always come out where we'll see them.

We're more likely to see coyotes, foxes, skunks, bunnies, and raccoons, possums, and squirrels.

We're also getting more wild turkeys in our area now, when they've been more populated in other counties.
