Ideas Please - Background Motif

I'm working on a month-by-month project and want to include a background print, preferably something with nature. I'm stuck on what to use for September as it's late summer/early fall and doesn't really have any holidays to work with. Any ideas? tia

How about autumn leaves? That is what I used in my elementary classrooms back in the day. Fall begins in September.

@ThinkingOutLoud I agree with everyone and would go with the autumn theme, with the changing leaves and feature the autumn colors.

Being a cautious soul, I would plan the remaining months as a unit. If September is fall leaves, what will be October be?

October could be pumpkins, Indian corn, hay bales, and anything else fall related.

fall/september......colored leaves on the ground and in the trees, MUMS in beautiful fall colors, sunflowers, squirrels gathering nuts, trucks with fruits and veggies for sale on the side of a road or farm, haystacks on a farm, large tractors mowing a field.

fall/october......halloween themes and decor, pumpkins, hayrides, scarecrows in a field, owls, bats, brown crunchy leaves on the ground, harvest moon.

Autumn leaves. Either a collection of just multicolored leaves or trees with beautiful leaves.
