The elk appeared while I was preparing lunch. This is rare. They are usually here at dawn or shortly after and then again in late afternoon.

@ On It wow! Beautiful there. We get the occasional white tail deer and lots of squirrels and chipmunks but it's nothing compared to where you are, you're lucky!
