We have wild horses that roam the village. We encountered them on the main highway that runs through the commercial district one morning on our way to Starbucks.

Oh, I mean horses

We got to see the wild horses one year on the beach and also see them crossing the river and the highway. Of course we all gave them the right of way! Sometimes the horses would fight on the beach-the males. All around the parked cars. It could be scary but they were magnificent to

see!

@on the bay I learned to post photos this afternoon. They are wild horses, but my photo is blurred. I will probably have a new thread with clear pictures when my son arrives. The wild horses are unsettling. I still think someone's horses escaped the pasture every time I see them.

Wildlife seems to be encroaching on public land more often....a beautiful sight but concern for our precious animals' safety as well as our own.

We are in a small village on the mountain not in the foothills. The village safeguards them with strict ordinances and hefty fines.

We watched a tourist walk up to one in the park and pet it. The guy got lucky. I guess the horse knew people because of where it hangs out in the daytime.
