WOW! I was just shower'd with Blessings!

I went to the Grocery store, parked in Handicapped, w/ my Placard, per usual. A Nice Lady held a Shopping Cart there & asked me if I'd like to use it?

Then, putting my purchases in the car, a Nice Young Gentleman came over and asked, on two occasions, if I'd like his help putting items in my car.

After I put my items in the car, another older Gentleman came over & asked if I'd like him to return my Cart to the inside of the store?

WOW. I feel totally, totally showered with Blessings. All in a matter of 30 minutes, at the Grocery store.

THANK YOU for KIND PEOPLE in this World!!

You MADE MY DAY, MY NIGHT, and WEEKs+++ !!!

That is wonderful @JoyFilled Warrior.

Especially knowing there are many kind people in the world, and experiencing it right during ordinary errands! The simplest kindnesses can really make a day and a week

I like the simple, but profound message you posted. A local group of parents has started a group with activities geared towards young kids to teach them KINDNESS. It seems like there isn't much of it around these days. I hope the group takes off and spreads the true meaning and intent of the new organization.

I do say, the OP was blessed today by kindness. She had a good day indeed.

Wonderful story @JoyFilled Warrior , I'm happy for you and that you had that experience and I hope you have many more. I remind myself daily that despite our differences, the overwhelming majority of people are kind, and want the best for themselves and for each other. We don't deserve to be set against each other like so many try to do for their personal gain. (Mods, if this is controversial, please delete only my post and not the @JoyFilled Warrior thread)

You are blessed indeed. You are also very trusting. In today's world I, unfortunately am skeptical. Especially as a senior citizen, someone could hurt you. I know it's not good to feel this way, and thankfully they were kind people.

We just talked this week about strangers who bless you without getting anything in return. I wish we could thank them, but of course we can't. I believe they, in turn, will receive blessings too!

I don't know about blessed, but it does say there are still some great/nice people in our world.

I am glad to hear there are still helpful & kind people in this world...surely not what I experienced taking my wheelchair bound spouse to doctors yesterday😡

I literally had to ask someone to hold the door -- 10 people sitting there watching me struggle to hold door & push him in. When I asked them to hold the door they looked like I was annoying them. Finally, no one came forward there was a man walking down the hall and asked to help me!!! Needless to say I said some choice words when we finally got into the waiting area.

And trying to get on elevator was even worse😡.

I always offer to help someone ...guess I'm losing faith in humans.

I'm with you @Coastalcarolina . It makes me very uneasy when someone approaches me in a store parking lot. That's how purses get snatched. I'd just as soon have strangers keep their distance.

It was pulmonary office and I'd say most were in my age group 55+ -- I know a handicapped door would be great. I mentioned this to doctor and he agreed. (The door is the self closing type).
