Their baby daughter Matilda arrived on Thursday 3/30. Kudos to them for sharing a photo of the baby, not just a foot or hand. If a celebrity chooses not to show photos of their baby, that's fine, but I'm not interested in seeing a foot or hand.

Some babies are red wrinkled llittle prunes at first, and have a face only a mother could love. Not to mention that most women don't look fabulous after childbirth, except maybe to their husbands.

I think the occasional artsy announcement is okay. Show a real pic of the kid later ... when they look like a sweet little baby, not a red prune. Those photos never go away on the internet.

I'm guessing Tilly or Tildy would be the shortened form of Matilda. Old-fashioned but very cute. I know who Kelly is but couldn't place Tom, although his name sounded very familiar. Then it dawned on me that I know him from The Guiding Light, which went off the air many years ago. I don't know what either of them have done recently.

There is nothing more beautiful in the world as a newborn baby,,,IMO... I love the first picture of life and as another poster stated to bring a healthy loved and wanted little person into the world...wonderful.
