Plants that I've ordered have never arrived as shown in presentations. This is an example of one..the Phillip Watson Succulent mat.

I ordered plants one time. After I planted them, I loved them. But they arrived a soggy broken down mess. The UPS delivery person looked at me like-- good luck with this. The cardboard box was soaked and collapsed. There was loose dirt all over it. Inside the box, the plants were still alive but the paper instructions etc-- soaked and illegible.

And the kicker-- they still say in presentation- we send our plants very well packaged. Yeah right. NEVER AGAIN

Got my Phillip Watson sun patiens today and the plants are about 4" tall and arrived very healthy and not bruised.

They came in a plastic holder keeping each one in place for the trip.

Probably the best plants I have ever ordered!

Hey, I ordered this exact same thing. I live in Zone 7b, so I have not got mine yet. What growing Zone are you in? I am just wondering when mine will come.

Some of the plants arrive a hot mess.

Some arrive with broken stems or leaves here and there .

Some arrive in perfect condition .

I only ask for a refund for the hot mess plants .

@luvzchiz I did and sent pics. They sent me another one but received the same pitiful sprigs in a flimsy box of dirt.

@LizzieInSRQ I posted the first one but was notified it was reported to moderator as abusive and not published so I worded it a little differently and posted again. If I figure out how to delete one I will..

They don't pack and expidite shipping as they should.

I've ordered from CF and had success growing things on, but the best out there is Fast Growing Trees. They are expensive but the order arrives within days and they are expertly packaged.

Worth the price.

Those succulents will be fine and you can propagate them simpy by scattering leaves around. I do agree, however, that is not an acceptable purchase.

I bought 3 hydrangea plants many years ago on Q. Only one survived. Since then I only buy from my local nurseries.

Shipping anything live is a challenge. Some companies will ship a package to a destination with trackers and sensors inside to see how the package is handled. What they generally discover is that no matter how carefully they pack something and label it, it gets beat to death in transit. It's nearly impossible and expensive to make something shipper-proof. Those selling live items understand this and are typically very good at refunding or reshipping items destroyed in transit.

None of my hydrageas have every survived, and only one of the multi-color butterfly bushes has done so but it reverted to one color, it was probably a graft. Last year I bought a lavender that promised stronger fragrence, I did not notice a difference but it was healthy and robust. I swore I wasn't buying any this year but I broke down and bought Butterfly weed only because I can never find it locally other than seed, that plant does not like to be disturbed when growing but I'm trying this one to see how they do in our new butterfly garden.
