I just bought a nice pair from Macy's for $28.

Q is rarely price competitive. I always shop around.

Don't want to pay $70? There are a gazillion other options on QVC for denim pedal pushers including D&C for almost half that i.e. $28-$38 for D&C Skimmer Lenghth with lots of colors. Just not comfy knit.

ITA. Guess it's easier for someone to complain about the price. I see things I might want but i feel the price is too unreasonable. I just pass on it. I have never come here to post such a comment.

There's a brand called 'Time and Tru' at Walmart. Most of their pants are under $20, with many under $15, and the quality will shock you for that price.

And some complained yesterday about IM's pedal pushers for $57. $69 for D&C does seem a bit out of line.

I agree with you. That price is way out of line. But when someone posts that the prices are too high, they get hammered by some posters. I guess it's not safe to post disapproval on pricing here.

@Effie54 Agreed. I still purchase from QVC, have been for over 30 years and will continue shopping at QVC, however, pedal pushers for that amount is outrageous!

Agree! I can afford $70 for run of the mill pants but why when equal quality is available elsewhere for far less. The OP was venting. I understand!

There are some hidden gems to be found at Walmart. I do not care for most of their fashions, but I do find some very nice items. I hesitate to post them as many here do not like Walmart and I do not want the controversy.

I have found my most favorite jeans at Costco. Many of their fashions can be ordered online and you do not have to be a member.

I totally agree. I'd neer bujy them. There are other places to shop. Wait until the price comes down and it will when the season changes. I have seen many other articles on sale lately.

@meem120 Yes, that is pretty pricey. HOWEVER, I like to find the perfect pant/short/skirts. I will pay more for them if they are a perfect fit and comfortable and I will wear them often.

I don't do, or I should say rarely, Capri's and pedal pushers or anything around that length. I'm short and petite and they tend to cut my legs even shorter than they already are. I went against my rule and paid full price for CCB shorts after reviews were in. My legs are probably my best asset as I have worked out all my life, living in a warm tropical climate they are pretty tan. I have a hard time finding that sweet spot in length. Anyway, I paid around $65 for these shorts, got free shipping. I love, love, love them.

I think it is all about what a person finds worth the money. I would not spend that price on terry shorts or even capri's/pedal pushers as I would not get my money's worth. However, in the summer it's all about dresses, swimsuits and shorts in my area so the value was there for me.

I agree that price is absurd. I have a lot of Denim and Co. I know what quality to expect, what size I wear, what fabrics I like, and that the shades of colors will go together. It is easier to stick with what I know than to shop around online and take a chance on something new. That is why I don’t “shop around” much like other posters suggest. If the price is too high, I don’t buy it. I have gotten some good deals on “as is” items and lunchtime specials. If there is something I really want that is too expensive in my opinion, I can check daily to see if the price has gone down.

Although I love Comfy Knit and have many pairs of jeans in that fabric, $70. is more than I want to pay for any short pant, so I'm not going to buy then. Very simple and I don't feel the need to rant about it.

Why do people think D&C should be cheaper than Isaac, Kim Gravel or any other line? Its made of nicer fabric than Gravel and never wears out, better quality, greater variety.
