TVS Beekman Show

I saw a wee bit of it with JT. She was screa ming and jump;ing up and down to sell the product that I turned it off. She acts out and it is disgusting, that is not selling in my way of thinking. Why is she always on?

@dmeasy- ITA! The Q should change its name to the JT Show! I cannot stand her, everytime I put on the Q she is on. What the heck is the matter wit this woman? I used to look forward to watchjing in the evening and now she has ruined this for me. I have to go to the website to see what was on. Why can't they put someone like Terri Conn on in the pm - she is such a class act, soft spoken and acts like an adult. The Q is going down the tubes (no pun intended). JT just gets worse and worse.

She has a story for everything. The Q really needs to rethink who they fire and who they leave on. Unwatchable these days. UGH

Jane wasn't like this in the past. I'm just speculating, but I think her behaviors are a symptom of a problem. That being the pressure she may be feeling to perform. To appear youthful and energized amongst much younger peers. To keep her job.

I can't criticise Jane. She's doing what she thinks she needs to do to fulfill her role. I get it. I remember how I felt when I began to feel I was aging out of my own job. And I was Jane's age.

I remember a young co-worker broadcasting to a group of us: "The world will be a better place, when all the senior hippies are dead." Yes, he said that.

A professional person with lots of education, but lacking in civility and life experience. It's a sad truth, that youth and beauty rule, and there's a pasture out there, that the rest of us need to take rest in, or under. A very ugly part of our culture.

I watched some of the presentation because I was curious about the product but didn't see anything "special" about it. I didn't enjoy the presentation and turned it off when I got an idea of what was presented.

@BlueFinch Very thoughtful reply, thanks. I think you nailed it. Sadly, Jane is over-doing it, and leaving her audience disgusted.

I will not watch JT for many reasons. If she thinks her antics make her appear "youthful" she should reevaluate how she comes across. Putting her on with a much, much younger younger host makes her appear even older. Jayne Brown, in my opinion, is one of the better hosts, maybe the best. She does not get over excited and jump up and down or have a constant smirk on her face. They are probably about the same age yet there is a world of difference. Age has nothing to do with your professionalism.

I went to bed last night around midnight or a bit after. Thought I'd turn on the TV and check out the TSV.

As soon as I saw the host, it was an instant channel changer. No way could I watch as I am trying to wind down for the day.

I will NOT watch JT. When she appears on the screen I hit the remote and find something more interesting ....like a murder mystery on ID or OWN.

Jane must be a high producer to get the prime evening hours and get away with the things she does, yet nobody professes to watch her. Everybody claims to instantly turn the TV off. So who's buying all that stuff?

I've always defended Jane T., however, I saw her hugging and almost or maybe kissing Stan Herman last night. She is going overboard, I finally have to agree and it isn't just from that, it's everything everyone has been saying.

I hope she can settle down a bit and keep her job. If she cannot or will not change, others watching will do the changing.....of the channel.

As Jane has been with QVC since before QVC, 34 years I believe, and has brought many successful vendors to the company including the St. Patrick's Day celebration, could it be she has more influence, including financial, which would give anyone a sense of entitlement. If this post is deleted, as many of my others have been, I will have my answer.

I have been occasionally flipping to QVC tonight. I have heard a reference to her daughters 3 times so far. I missed when she apparently addressed that earlier- something about threatening her daughters. If she would just stop talking about them, no one would say anything about them.

@Daffney How could anyone here possibly know if Jane had any influence in bringing any vendor to QVC? She's always tried to take credit for being the first or best to show a product. I always blow her off because I know she's a braggard. She makes herself seem more important than she is.

The 2 worst hosts on tv. Jane gets more hyper by the minute, there must be something else going on in her life.

I watched for a few minutes and Jane never closed her mouth once.

Closeups don't do them any favors.

I don't understand why they don't cut costs by getting rid of the 2 host thing. Nobody wants it. If they need to fill their hours because they are salaried then lay another one off.

I have no problem admitting to being a regular Shoe Shopping viewer every Tues. evening, IN SPITE of manic behavior from JT & CK. I only care that they open the darn boxes and show me the shoes. I know where the mute button is located on my remote & use it frequently, but I will not boycott shows. NOTHING will come between me and my Franco Sarto & Spring Step L'Artiste shoes....hahahaha!

@PatsShoes I've spent many pleasant hours with QVC on mute and some relaxing music in the background. Reading and occasionally glancing at the TV.
