I always enjoyed her. She has the most beautiful speaking voice. I wish her well.

Lately, she has not had the Denim & Co. spot with regularity, and it sent my mind racing, to be honest.

I liked her and enjoyed her presentations. Hoping this exit will bring in a new type of joy into her life.

Well you know I am really mad over this She was so relatable and I am so mad I will pay my bill off and I am done with it all... I will shop elsewhere like I used to .. I think I will call and write and complain about this . I have been watching less and less and I am done I can find something else to watch and keep my channel on .. QVC Big Mistake

She was my favorite host. Good explanations of product sizes, etc. Guess the Q would rather hire loud, obnoxious, cheaper hosts. I won't be watching as much QVC as in the past.

And after 19 years they don't even give her a good bye party. Shame on them.

@simplyfriends I'm hopeful for Carolyn that it's her choice, freely made rather than a company choice or a health-related one. I love her voice, her manner, and her expertise. I will miss her.

I am stunned. I hope this was her decision to retire and enjoy traveling in her new RV. She will be missed. I wish her much happiness and fun adventures in her new chapter.

I enjoyed her garden shows and taped them to watch later, if I was not available when presented. Very sad news..

Carolyn is not a favorite of mine, however I hate to see anyone lose their job. Hopefully she got a good severance package.

Was she let go or did she decide to retire? I know she's in her 60's, so maybe it was time for her to move on to the next phase of her life. She was certainly one of the best hosts the Q has ever had. Although she didn't start with the old timers, she was equally as good as Kathy, Judy and Mary Beth (I know she's still there). Her speaking voice was perfect for her job and she was so thorough in her presentations. She was an everyday woman and not some young, phony, fake starlet. I know change is inevitable, but some of the hosts they have now are just horrible.

I'm wondering if she could could have been offered a retirement incentive and have accepted it. She and hubby recently bought a nice motor home and I'm sure they're dying to use it. Its hard to justify the cost of those big toys if you can't use it often. So far, she hasn't mentioned going anywhere except train trips to visit her parents.

I find it very difficult to believe her sales weren't high. She's also the only truly knowledgeable gardening host they have. Love it or hate it, D&C sells like crazy.

Gary must be very sad. Goodbye squirrels.

so sad that both she and and dan were let go.....she was here for 19 years, he for 33 years. they will be missed!

@simplyfriends , what?!?!?!? This is actually shocking to me! I have not yet read the rest of the thread, so I do not know if she gave a reason (not that she has to). Caroline's love for QVC and her job has always been evident. She truly loved what she was doing. She also loved her regular spots with Gary when presenting D&C. I hope she is O.K. healthwise.

Dear Friends-

I have some bittersweet news today. After 19 years, I am no longer working at QVC. I have loved every minute of my time there, especially the opportunity to get to know all of YOU. You have been the most cherished part of my job as a QVC Host, and have shared your friendship with me through good times and bad…through challenges and triumphs. I am so grateful for you! I have many new adventures ahead and I hope you will join me on my new Facebook and Instagram pages (coming soon)! Don’t worry - you’ll be able to simply “like” and “follow” without having to send a friend request. You won’t want to miss all the fun with pets, gardening, RVing and so much more! I'm kind of shocked. I thought she had a real following and that the higher-ups loved her. She IS (well, I guess it's WAS), Denim & Co.

Adding: I doubt it was her decision. They would have have a farewell show for her.
