What's going on outside the windows where you are?

Just yesterday, I mentioned to my husband, THE ARK looks like it might be interesting to visit. Sure, now it's raining out to beat the band. It's not the white stuff though, and I don't mean cotton. LOL

Right now the sun is out, but will be changing later as we're getting snow, sleet and freezing rain. I'm in east central Pa.and I think we've not had much more than 5 inches of snow for the season. I think our average is maybe 32 inches. Of course,still lots of time to catch up. I can do without it. I don't trust not getting snow until mid April or so.

Bright blue sky, bright sunshine. There's snow and some ice on the trees and bushes from the little bit of snow we got last week. Looks warm but it's in the 20s. I suppose it's the calm before the storm that is due tomorrow.

Rain later today. Any snow storm leaves rain in Maryland. All of January and nearly all of February remained the same. March will probably not be any different.Snow event that will approach PA, again will leave rain here. So we will probably go the entire winter without any snow. Temps average in the 40's and 50'sF

Like to add a Derecho happened yesterday in the Midwest. A sign the violent Spring is revving up.

It is another perfectly fine Eeyore sort of day here in Northeast Ohio. Grey, cloudy, rainy. We have had an entire winter of them.

Sunny today, temperature in the mid 30s. Supposed to get some snow tonight. No biggie 4-8". However, it will be the first measurable amount of snow this season.

It seems people are pining for snow around here, as by now we have usually had quite a number of storms and generous amounts of snow accumulation. I however hate snow, so I was quite happy to slide through the winter snowless.

Strangely, I love rain.

Funny you should ask! LOL.......Beautiful bright and sunny in RI and a balmy 31 degrees. Snow on the way tonight though (4-8inches) and we are all excited as this winter has been very boring , kind of like QVC programming!

@qualitygal Beautiful morning in southern Florida with lots of sun. Temperature as we head to 11am is just under 80, so it's very comfortable. Later in the day, it will be summer hot - 88-89 or more.

Amarillo, Tx had winds that reached 73. Started after I left church I noticed the winds had increased.

towards the afternoon I buttoned down the hatches.

Wind almost took the house down and mine is made with 2 X 6's instead of 2X4's. Electricity flickered, but, stayed on. TV wasn't worth a hoot, so, I just watched what I had pre-recorded on Tivo.

Woke up took trash can out to curb and it looks like somebody is missing a piece of their sheet metal barn

I inherited it. Thank Lord never got close to my actual house, so, now I have to pay a junk hauler to come and get it.

Chilly, sunny, beautiful but yesterday was a hellacious mess with 65mph winds, snow squalls and dust blowing so badly we couldn't see our nearby 10,000+ft mountain. We had the same thing last Wednesday and will do it again this coming Wednesday/Thursday.

@catter70 We are north of you and will get the same. Not a fan of snow but prefer that to the sleet, freezing rain business.

It is pretty chilly out. I ran to the closest convenience store (16 miles round strip, not really convenient. lol). The sun was nice since it has been lacking lately.

I am living for the first day when I can open all the windows without turning down the furnace. The cats will go crazy too.

@CrazyKittyLvr2 , yes you usually get more snow than we do here.. And I think this storm will be the case, too. I've seen anything from 1-8 inches,so who knows. Anyhow, be safe out there. Glad you got to the store to stock up. I'm within 2 miles of Wegman's, Walmart, Giant and Weis.

Here in South Texas we are expecting a temperature of 86....way too early, way above normal for this time of year.....🥵......Thankfully Thursday night, temperatures will be returning to normal...in the 60s/70s.....cant wait!

The lake is frozen over so it just looks like a white field. Supposed to get another dumping of snow later on today. Love watching the ice fishermen with the scattered shantys all over my lake. Then when they pack up and leave there is a hole in the ice. The eagles appear for them to go fishing.

@catter70 I only needed a couple things that I forgot over the weekend when DD went to grocery store. She had Friday off and we took a day trip to our favorite meat market/deli in Williamsport. I got a lot of meat, the freezer is well stocked. She hit Wegmans too. We are set except for milk, 1/2n1/2, and fresh produce. Luckily those are quick in and out stops at the store when we run out.

You stay safe as well.
