Just filed for bankruptcy for the second time since the beginning of the pandemic. They announced they will be closing 256 stores.

Sounds like there will be just a few left.

I always enjoyed shopping at Tuesday Morning and did so for years. They always had fun items and variety. I am sorry to hear they are closing stores. I miss Pier One and so many other stores which have closed. I like being out and about in stores whether I am buying or just browsing. I feel my options for store shopping are shrinking and that saddens me.

Oops. TheTuesday Morning store that we used to go to in the Capitol City closed quite a while ago. I think it was the Fall if 2021. It was such a fun place to shop around and buy a few fun things.

I only know of only 1 Tuesday Morning store, in Henderson, NV, I think, and it closed years ago. Didn't think any of them were still open.

I do miss Pier One and will very much miss BB&B when they finally go under. I guess b&m stores will become history in the not too distant future--too bad!

Kachina, I am so sorry that I messed up my first comment. I had a cortisone shot in my left elbow, my right leg and my right ring finger this morning. I am in a lot of pain right now, but hope to feel better in a couple of days.

I didn't realize there were any stores left. We had one for about two years and then it closed and that was several years ago. I went in once and wasn't impressed with their inventory.

I too enjoyed shopping at Tuesday Morning, it was like a treasure hunt. Years ago, I got a beautiful wooden bird feeder there and when it finally needed replaced, I couldn't find one like it anywhere.

I got an email from them yesterday announcing a closing sale.

Our store started off good, but after the pandemic, they shortened their hours, the prices increased and their selection was poor.

There's a long list of the stores Tuesday Morning in closing online.

I enjoyed shopping at Tuesday Morning, lots of unique home decor, the one in my area closed years ago. Recently Walmart, Rite Aid, BP gas station, Pizza Hut, lots of small businesses closed too & BB&B is days away from closing. Ugh.

Last month I went out to lunch with a group of friends celebrating a birthday, and after lunch we went to Tuesday Morning, which happened to be a few doors down from the restaurant. They had lots of nice things, and were very well stocked. Prior to this visit, i have not set foot in a Tuesday Morning in years. Nothing against them, just not convenient to where I live.

Yea, the store nearest to where I live is closing. Have bought a few items in there , will look this week to see if they are having any good liquidation sale .

I'm afraid that soon there will not be any B&M stores left. If we need something our only option will be to sit in our homes on the computer and shop. I know lots of folks are fine with this but I hate it.

I received an email yesterday stating our store would be closing and that everything would be marked down.

Then this morning I received an email stating oops, our store would not be closing.

I hope the second message is correct as I enjoy my periodic visits looking for a good "treasure".

Yes, they are closing one in our town and a Bed bath and beyond in the next town over-sad....I wonder how long until our mall closes. The only thing they have been building around here are more banks, gas stations, maybe an Aldi or two...I would assume it's the online shopping that is killing in person stores.

When the b&m stores have been driven out, the online prices will increase and customer service will decrease. The malls drove out downtown stores, and now malls are becoming ghost towns. The only things I buy online are those items I can't get locally.

Tuesday Morning was always such a hit and miss adventure but I always enjoyed shopping there because you never knew what unique items you might come across.

I use to have four stores within a 20 minute drive. Now I have one. Going to check to see if it's staying open.

I think this was the first discount stores around where I could get brand name stuff on discount. They would not be open all the time. They would close to restock and then have a special opening . People would stand in line to be one of first to get to stock. Long lines to pay. My kids knew what they were in for when we went! But with the explosion of other retailers, I found their stuff not that cheep but hey did have good towels and kitchen stuff assortment. One only needs so much stuff, however.
