We were to get 3 to 6 inches of snow then a mix (usually means sleet and/or freezing rain) then turn to all rain.

DD is working from home so she wasn't driving on the mix on top of snow coming home.

Well, it snowed some at 7am for a hot minute and stopped. It started again 20 minutes ago but unless it really ramps up we will not get 3 to 6 nches of snow.

She said she could have probably gone in f she knew it was going to putter around. I said better safe than sorry, 70 miles around in snow is dicey. The work got gone and that is what counts.

We are in NE PA.

Did you get any of this storm?

Started snowing around noon here in east central PA. Ground, road, driveway and walks are covered. Not liking it at all. It's supposed to turn to rain at some point.

I'm in Indiana and we were supposed to get 4 - 8, It's pretty much tapered off to just flurries now (if that). We probably got 4 inches tops. It's hard to tell because it was a wet, heavy snow that compacted on the ground. Plus the temps have been 33 or 34.

Wisconsin is on the northern edge of today's snow. Only a half inch of snow. Being it is 30 degrees, the snow is melting on the pavement.

The area where I live in E/NE PA had 1-3" predicted for today followed by heavy rain later that's supposed to wash the snow away.

I went out & shoveled for a while. It seemed like we got at least 3" here. I went inside when the big snowflakes were only melting on the sidewalk & street.

It's a pretty snow. There's a lull right now, but the rain is supposed to hit here around rush hour.

Maryland as usual, just had rain. Every time snow storms hit, we get all day rain because it can't get out of the 40's here. I have a feeling our entire winter might just consists of rainstorms instead of snow. We might get snow showers next Thursday, but that's it. It'll be 36F. No snow of any kind so far. It's wet here too. It seems to rain every every couple of days are so. Maryland is listed as a state with extreme weather. The reason is that we could go for years with little or no snow, then suddenly out of the blue, 30"plus snow fall in one day. (No lake effect snow too. Maryland has no natural lakes). Seems to go every 7 or 8 years. And on the days of the perfect snowstorms, (complete with thunder and lightning) we surpass Boston in snow fall.
