OT - - sorry biker babe. Jules, what's the difference between cinnamon buns and sticky buns. I've always considered them the same thing. My family tells me I'm wrong, but they can't seem to come up with a difference. Feel better, Jules.

I'm into playing with the iPad I got for Christmas.

I'm over the holidays and have to take down decorations, even though I know how dreary everything will be without them because of the weather.

Sticky buns are usually a brown sugar/butter type sticky topping. Often with nuts. Cinnamon rolls have more of a drippy frosting, not necessarily brown sugar based.

Oh, and sticky buns are often baked upside down with the gooey stuff on the bottom of the pan, then flipped after baking. Cinnamon rolls you pour over the frosting after baking.

LOL! What bikerbabe said. No sticky buns for me today, frosting on the top. Thanks Flirty and bb, am finally feeling much better. Flirty, I am with you on the Christmas decorations. If I had felt up to it, would have had them down several days ago, but they have been sort of comforting. It will seem stark when they are down, but if I feel up to it, will put them away tomorrow. All good things must come to an end.
