Missing Woman From Cohasset, MA

Mother of three Ana Walshe from Cohasset, Ma has been missing since she left her home January 1st, she had been scheduled to take a rideshare to Boston's Logan Airport to board a flight to Washington DC. Mrs. Walshe works in DC during the week where works for a real estate firm. Both her husband and her job reported her missing on January 3rd. She never took a rideshare or boarded her flight.

Ironically the home she sold in March of '21 caught fire yesterday afternoon, the cause of the fire is undetermined.

Her husband is a convicted dealer of fake art, he pled guilty in Federal court in Boston for in 2021 to dealing fake Andy Warhol paintings of the "shadows" abstract series from 1978.

Before I knew about the husband's past, in my opinion he's done something to her.

The state fire marshall's office has determined that the fire began in some piping connected to a natural gas fireplace insert.

Check out the husband and if she had an insurance policy where he is the beneficiary.

So, she goes missing on Sunday, Jan 1, and he reports her gone on Wednesday. That doesn't bode well for the husband IMO

Saw that on the news this morning. Things seem more than coincidental! Hope they find her and not hurt. Those kids need their mother.

The local and State police have finished their ground search, I'm really pray that she's found and ok. She has 3 young children, the oldest is 6 and the youngest is 2.

This case has me very, very worried. Her husband has a lack of character, and maybe she wanted “out.” And maybe husband did not take it well and got violent.

Moms very rarely disappear leaving little children behind. They need their momma. I remember praying that nothing would happen to me while my children were needing a mom.

Pray for this woman.

Not just her husband. She's been convicted of selling counterfeit art too. My guess is they stiffed the wrong person and she took the money and fled back to whatever Eastern European country she came from.

@chrystaltree, I've been reading a great deal this week about this case and there no mention of her ever being arrested for selling counterfeit art like her husband. Can you supply a link? BTW, she's from Serbia!

Do you remember the contractor guy in CT- Doulos? His wife Jennifer disappeared leaving her kids. This reminds me of that situation.

Brian Walshe plead guilty on 4/1/2021. Please provide a link about Ana Walshe's conviction.

You are correct. They didn't prosecute her. But the FBI investigation documented that she participated in the sale of the fake paintings, and communicated with the victim. She was part of the scam. Google it yourself. It's not hard to find.

@chrystaltree I read that in 2017 she and her husband were sued in court for alleged art forgeries. I have not read that she was convicted, but she was included in that lawsuit. Her signature was included along with her husband's on those documents that later proved to be lies in the scam. It doesn't say if that's the same lawsuit that later led to the husband's arrest, guilty plea, and conviction in 2021.

The current news now about her disappearance is suspiciously leaving all that out about her alleged involvement in the past scams. It could be they don't want to tip off their avenue of pursuit, who knows.

Do I remember? That happened only a couple towns away from where I live. All over the news, all the time.

From the detective work from our trusted forum friends, you can see there was a dramatic difference. For one, Jennifer was extremely wealthy! When she wanted to divorce Doulos, she moved further away, in another mansion she bought, with her children. Doulos was in financial trouble, but still had his szussy girlfriend.

So Jennifer brings her children to day care one am, goes home, but then disappears. But aha, there were remnants of her blood in her home. Searches upon searches, they never found her. Doulos goes to court, returns to his house, and kills himself.

There are camera recordings of Doulos and his girlfriend stopping at various sites in poverty areas in Hartford, dropping things in the trash. Cameras are everywhere. After a complete shutdown of the town’s trash center, for days, teams searching, nothing.

Jennifer was a devoted mother. I know she was killed. Her remains will likely never found. The searches, everywhere, went on and on. Luckily, her mother in NYC is raising the small children.

I think of Jennifer often. The girlfriend of Doulos refuses to talk. Rest In Peace, Dear Jennifer.

And thanks to our forum detectives, my thoughts on the Cape Cod is case has my head swirling. What kind of woman abandons her tiny children?

Interesting that so many news reports regarding her disappearance contain so much conflicting information. If she just wanted out of her marriage, she had the means to do that, but no woman would leave behind her children, especially a child as young as two. He needs his mama. The husband does sound like a shady character. I pray the outcome of this story is positive, but it does not sound good. The fire at her house is suspicious as well. One report said it was a house she sold, another says it was the family home. I pray her her and her family.

The fire was at a house that she sold in March of 2022.

Yes, I had heard that as well, along with other scenarios. I truly hope she is found safe and is reunited with her young children.

There was a very large police presence at the residence this morning, to conduct another search, and the children were driven away, presumably by a relative.

Thanks for the update. Can't wait to watch the evening news. Didn' t know it had gotten coverage outside of MA.

So sad as I think we all know what happened. Men are sooo dumb to think they can get away with murdering their wife. Just like the Dateline show the other night where "the husband did it".
