A sales associate at a store I go to regularly asked me today what my plans were for New Years Eve. I started to laugh. And kept laughing.

I can remember having plans for New Year's Eve maybe twice in my life. When I just got out of college.

When you're widowed and not dating anyone chances are pretty great that you have no plans.

It's a real dilemma every year for me....plaid pajamas or the solid blue ones. This year I may go all out and add a matching robe.

I plan on wearing a lovely Eileen West (gift) flowered long nightgown and a well warn BD cardi. LLBean real sherpa lined slippers will complete my ensemble.

I miss the parties and fun we used to have. Now I am in bed and asleep when the new year kicks in. I don't want to hear Auld Lang Syne.......too sad for me.
