Is there a cartoon in a newspaper or magazine that you laugh at now?

I know there's one called "Pickles". It coincides with my life, so I find it funny. Makes me laugh out loud when I see it. If you haven't, maybe you can find it on line to enjoy too.

GoneButNotForgotten - I LOVE Pearls Before Swine and it always makes me laugh out loud. He is so witty and has the driest sense of humor, the best!

There are 2 pages of " funnies " in our local e-paper. I find some of the newer ones weird: alien figures or animals, strange dialogue, points obscured.

I read three every day: 2 classic and 1 relatively new. The newer one really isn't funny: it's more a sad commentary on relationships. The women appear to be materialistic and totally self-centered. It is becoming easier and easier to skip over it.

None that make me laugh out loud but there are several I like: Pickles, of course, Ripley's Believe or Not, and Nancy (by Olivia Jaimes). I don't read them every day, but check-in on them once in a while at GoComics.com; the site has many comics listed in an A-Z directory. It allows commenting on each strip, which is often more fun than the strip itself.

I don't get Pickles, but I do like Dagwood, Zits, Beetle Bailey and for Better or Worse. Not sure what the the one with the unicorn is about and what the heck did they do to Mark Trail? Stopped reading that.

My favorites are Family Circus, Dustin, For Better For Worse, Peanuts, and Cathy ( which I relate to).

I haven't read a paper in years, but I loved The Far Side. I'd get the calendars every year too. Garfield and Family Circus were favorites too.

I was raised on Booth and Larson cartoons. I don't know of anything now to compare at all. Especially George Booth, who is for me THE best ever!
