Tumbleweeds taking over !

Here in Tx. I'm being run over with tumbleweeds all up against my fence between me and the neighbor. Because I got a wire fence they're all on my side keeping them from blowing over to other yards. LOL

I found a picture online that shows how bad they can be.

We all live in fear that some cigarette smoking idiot will drop a cig butt and burn us out and pray you can get out in time and your insurance pays off.

I put this in the wrong forum, but, they will remove it from the TV area I can't delete nothing.

People here in NM get them piled up so badly at times, they can't get out of their houses and must be rescued. Strangely, I've never heard of a fire being attributed to tumbleweeds.

@SharkE What are you going to do about them?

@ROMARY Back in 1940s Sons of the Pioneers sang Tumbling Tumbleweeds. One of my Dad's favorites.

Yes! My dear Dad played that song, (along with "Cool Water", which was a turquoise blue 45 rpm, and also was by Sons of the Pioneers.)

@Kachina624 I got a man and his boy coming out sat to put in his truck with a tarp he's taking them home and put them thru his mulch machine.

gotta wait till these Southwest winds give us a rest. Surely,

@SharkE Saturday may be good. We have a cold front with rain/snow coming through Sunday. Also possible snow tonight. Rain off and on all day today and very windy right now.

@Parischic Never fear, its not one tumbleweed but many attached together. They have nasty thorns on them which, like Velcro, causes them to stick together.

I didn't hear much about this years snowman but 2 days after they built it, we had 60+mph winds. I wonder if it tumbled over to Arizona via I-40?

never made it to arizona. My vacation days are over.

Why I just make myself happy buying stuff traveling days are behind me now.
