Can you help me with Mr. Rebates?

Something has changed with my account and I don't know what happened, I have always gotten the money into my

"Pending Cash Back" column on their website whenever I would shop with HSN but now every order I make has HSN listed, with the order number and date of purchase but every single purchase has 0.00 where it should have a dollar and cents amount.

I spoke with a customer rep with HSN and she didn't even know what Mr. Rebates was...seriously.

I chatted online with Mr. Rebates and they seem to think I received no money becuase I had cancelled my orders. Nope, I've not cancelled anything. I'm just not getting any money from them.

All the other places I shop at are giving me the money, it's just HSN, does anybody know how to fix this?

Just a tip, when shopping at HSN use Top Cashback, they offer either 12%, or as high as 22% back from HSN quite often. I never have trouble getting my orders credited.

And I have also found most CS reps from vendors have no clue what the rebate sites are and how they work.

I can think of one reason why you may not have gotten credited, did you use an HSN coupon code not offered on Mr R, that will often void a rebate. However, when I use Top Cashback it always credits me even with a coupon not offered on their site.

Fill out Mr R missing rebate forms, and let them take it from there, they will investigate it for you.

In general, their percentages are usually a lot higher than Mr R, you wont be sorry.

Topcashback is not without issues. I have an open ticket right now with them concerning a purchase on HSN. Didn't use a coupon, it wasn't clearance, shouldn't have been a reason why it was denied.

I've also had top cashback issues. Not paying, payments taking over 4 months not a good experience.

@rockygems123 yes, TCB takes a long time to pay. If a person clicks on their pending rebates, it tells how long it will be. Right now, I have one that is 17 weeks out! I do use them, because their rebate amount is usually much higher, and I don't mind (too badly) waiting for my rebates. And they often offer $2.50 or $3.00 from themselves if you make a purchase through them in a specified time frame. I ordered $60 worth of items from HSN last weekend and got almost $15 back in rebates.

I must be in minority sitill using mr rebates yet they are consistent and I don't cash in and just let the amount build. They sent me a check this month and I inadvertently threw out and called and they replaced it within a week by sending a new one out. I'd rather know I am receiving the rebate than deal with a company that is not reliable/consistent

Bottom line is that none of the rebate sites, I use 6 of them are without issues, there is always going to be a time you will have an issue, it is not a perfect set up on any of them to have things go without failure.

I order from Chewy all the time... and no matter what site Befrugal, Top Cash Back, Mr Rebates... etc... I go through... Chewy denies my order for getting rebates.... I do not click off the site ever and use no coupons outside of what is allowed.... I think Chewy does not want to pay out as I spend sometimes $700 an order for pet supplies... makes me mad.

@gulf coast girlI have had this exact same problem!! It's happened on 6 of my last 7 HSN orders. I'll get notified of the rebate, it will show in my account for a day or so, then zero's out for no reason. I then have to wait 2 weeks and email them as a missing rebate and they input it manually. It's really annoying. I can't figure out what the problem is. When I tried raising it with them they gave me their standard line of how to place an order (which I know how to do - been doing it for years).

I have shopped with Mr. Rebates for over 13 years now. Never had a problem except my own mistake not to use Mr. rebate before I bought something, and it was usually with a huge purchase. I contacted them email through their site and told them the problem and they actually fixed it for me. Because I had that site on my click list it's just that I went somewhere else to check a price and when I came back to the site I guess I had signed out and missed the rebates. I always make sure to go back to Mr. rebates in click again just before I purchase to be sure. But when I emailed them they contacted me the same day and they actually took care of many problems I had with QVC not paying. The problem was with QVC I FOUND OUT. And within three days the purchase was credited to my last. I always opt for a check. But, I only get a check once or twice a year depending on how high the amount is I just like it that way. Maybe check back into your account and make sure the way you want to be paid is correct. I just like the big check once a year $700-$1200 which makes it nice for Christmas!
