PORCELAIN -- Where Are You?

I have not seen a post from Porcelain in a very long time. Does anyone know if I've simply missed reading her posts or if she has decided to leave the forum? I hope not.

Maybe she posts solely on the other forum. I do enjoy her input so much. Her opinions and thoughts are always so rational, informed and well expressed.

SloopJohnB, thank you. For some reason -- and as I've written several times -- I got into the system via a back door or something. Never had that set-up that connects to the poster.

OK @golding76 . I know she posts there too. I used to post there, but not anymore. I do like seeing her from time to time over here too. Hoping she's ok.....

gertrudecloset, like you, I hope Porcelain is okay, too. These days, no matter who you are or where you live, something horrible can overtake you.

The other thing -- Porcelain may have tired of posting here. It is understandable if that is the case.

That may not be accurate if she posted on threads that have been deleted.

Isn't she the one who deleted her account the other day on the other board because someone said the admins could read private messages? (They can't, BTW).

Because I am not a member of the other board, I have no idea, BoopOMatic. If your input is correct, that would explain Porcelain's absence, to a degree. She might simply be tired of it all and having to posit the same talking points repeatedly.

I am certain that, at some point, all of us tire of "sticking to our guns" with the predictable comments from the opposing side. Please understand that I am including BOTH sides with this statement.

Maybe we've all run out of steam and simply feel "hang it!"

@lynnie61 don't forget you can turn that feature off. That way no one can tell when you've been online other than to scroll through to find posts. You can "hide" your online status there. Not saying that Porcelain did this, but it can be done.

Thanks @gertrudecloset I didn’t know you could do this. Wasn’t trying to stalk her(honest). But a few of our frequent posters seem to be missing. Several that we really enjoyed posts from. We just hope they are ok.

Yes, you can. Go to your settings over there and there is something that will let you say let members know when you are online or something to that effect. Just like here. You can do that here as well so it works similarly over on the proboards as well @lynnie61 ! Oh I agree. I don't go over there and I can only read her here. I'm pleased that someone inquired about her. No, no stalking, just we miss her.

No, I don't believe that was her.

And her account is still active at the other board.
