Please ask Carolyn Gracie to stop talking baby talk. She was presenting some animal buddies this morning & talked baby talk the whole time. Please remind her its grown adults buying these products not toddlers. She does this alot & the squirrel thing is cute once.

I don't know what's going on with Q, but last night ( sat nov-5) was unwatchable with the multiple hosts.

Ahem....control costs? Maybe ONE host is enough?

That squirrel ain't going away.

Baby talk is a minor distraction compared to the daily antics and extremes of other hosts. I agree that it's silly, but I guess I do tolerate it, taking no offense. I'm pretty sure Carolyn Gracie is aware her customers are adults. People accept "cute" on different levels.

I tune in every week to QVC, just not daily but I did watch Carolyn for a few min. there is nothing cute about a person talking baby talk to adults unless they are talking to a baby! When I first heard her, I didn't realize it would go on and on. I have seen in the forum that some people like it...something mentioned about a stuffed squirrel as well. I know hosts have to be somewhat entertaining to their potential customers but lately a few host have gone overboard with their antics and "over talking". FYI My comment is no reflection on what they wear or how they look.

The baby talk was ridiculous and embarrassing. The squirrels are bad enough and now this.

And how about her asking Gary to look at the tag in the waist of her pants to see the item number?!

I think they were trying to recreate the atmosphere of "Friends" in an attempt to pull in 20-30 year olds.

I mute the lot of them. I close caption if I hope for information on the item being shown, but usually, I just read about it online.

Carolyn has gotten way out of hand. I cannot watch her anymore. I bet that was embarrasing for Gary. I feel sorry for him that he has to put up with her.

She seems to think she can get away with anything, just like a few other hosts. And yes, that baby talk is ridiculous. What is the point?

@lanna We live in a baby talk world of junior high mentality. It has to be all puppies and rainbows and sprinkles on our cake pops eaten for 50th wedding anniversary parties.

We call grown women "adorable!" Adult behavior is not valued, and life is supposed to be just do what you want and mommy and daddy or the govt will make it all better.

Sorry, it just amazes me where I come from--but I'm old and out of touch. And I know it!

I cannot and will not watch that kind of nonsense. I haven't bought from QVC for a very long time. QVC was my go to for so many things. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the hosts and the presentations. Now it's just an annoyance. It doesn't look like it's going to stop...

I call it the infantilization and moronification of America.

Adults are now Kidults....dressing in the clothing of perpetual childhood ( pajamas to the store???? I was ONE the last time I did that.)...

Droopy mismatched clothing hanging out all over, and blankies blankies blankies to wrap up in ( throws) or the epitome of kidulthood....wearable blankies.

Thumbholes, that "vulnerable" pigeon-toed stance when showing adult women modelling clothes, adults guzzling on the ever present nipple-proxies on water boppies, oversized kiddie socks ( sherpa!!!!) and now baby talk.

All we need are thumbguards so thumb-sucking can become "in" for kidults ...DO it in the store!! In church!!! At a business meeting!!! While you're wearing your jammies in the airplane and you're cuddling your support rat!!!!

It's a childish, silly, selfish world of ME ME ME "If I don't get MY way or if I lose at parcheesi I'm going to hold my breath til I turn blue and stomp my feet..."

And another point, PLEASE stop butchering the English language! Just one example of this, there is no such word as "Anyways". The word is "Anyway". I have become so tired of it, if I hear a person say "Anyways" I immediately correct them and tell them the word is "Anyway".

Too bad if they don't like it. I do it ANYWAY.
