This has been a busy week and I'm so glad it's over. I notice that everyone in my family are all taking naps today. No wonder! My DH spent 4 or 5 days in hospital and it turned out his gallbladder turned on HIM.

His surgeon called me after the surgery was over and said, in effect, eeeeeeeeeeeewwww, that thing was in bad shape. Poor hubby, he spent several days in bed here at home; I finally got him to the local hospital and now he's home again, and again sleeping in his own bed. I don't think there's anything more soothing and comforting than to sleep in one's own bed.

A few years ago I hospitalized for a few days (and spent most of my time pleading to be let go). Wow, it was so comforting to get into my own bed and see the trees, and hear the local kids playing, from my own bed.

So please say a prayer or two for my very DEAR husband if you should think of it.

I will certainly remember your DH as he recovers. You are so right; nothing like sleeping in your own bed for pure rest and comfort. A hospital is no place for sleep; it is mostly interruptions all night and all day. I pray your DH feels better soon.
