Bed, Bath & Beyond Recent Visit

Lots of interior design changes from last time I was there. What stood out was the disappearance box the china & crystal Department. Associate told me there was no longer desire for these items for brides so they were spreading around flatware and stoneware. Other areas also thin in some merchandise. I could not even hold and study Rowenta irons. Brutal market competition. I hate how the retailers who have box stores and allow you to touch stuff is being squeezed out by Amazon etc.

@Twins Mom Be glad you even have one. Our once nice store is gutted and just odds and ends now, it's all 30-60% off and closing soon.

Makes me sad, that is why I avoid buying from Amazon as much as I can. I think I've only purchased 3 things from them in many years, and one was for work. They don't treat their warehouse people well and they are squeezing out many businesses.

Bed Bath and Beyond Hope. At least one closed down around here and even before they made a mess out of a once really nice store.

Selling shampoo, cosmetics, etc. - and cheap quality sheets, towels-I hadn't stopped in there since before COVID.

two out of three have closed here. they tried to get rid of brand name items and started putting in their brand and it didn't go well. I loved that store but now it's just sad. I do find things on line and i still get some k-cups there. i don't think they are long for the retail world, unless someone can turn them around.

It's sad what that store's become. It's gone downhill so fast. Not so long ago, the stores were busy, everyone walked around with a fistful of 20%-off coupons, and sales associates were all over you as soon as you walked in.

Ours looks like a liquidating sale...guess that means not long for the closest one to us (1 hour away).

Went to buy some kitchen placemats, towels and a few other things.

Walked around and bought nothing☹️

I guess we're lucky, was just in one a week or two ago and there was plenty of merchandise and actually was fairly crowded.
