REMOVING STICKY LABELS

In the overall scheme of things, this isn't a big problem ... actually, it's not even a problem, just an annoyance.

In the past few weeks I have purchased items that had the retailers name on a sticky label on the packaging.

Each time, they placed the label over the directions ... or the list of ingredients ... or the nutrition label. Information I needed to read, and the label wouldn't come off! I even tried a hair dryer to warm the label, but it didn't really help.

So .... anyone here have a handy tip for what removes those annoying sticky labels?

If you have any Scrub Daddy's, those should work.

@Tinkrbl44, I try to check expiration dates on items before I buy them. Yup, for me that's usually what the sticker covers. Sometimes I can luck out after checking several and find one where the information isn't covered.

i agree with with others about using Goo Gone, even though I don't care for the smell.

Craft areas have things like this, to remove sticky things. Even Amazon sells it, or your local craft store. Ask and they can tell you where it's at in the store.

WD40 or Goo Gone. Most people already have WD40 around the house, so no need to buy something new that gets used once in a blue moon.

When we had some major work in the house, our contractor brought in several bottles of Goo Gone for the workers to use on all the plumbing stuff that had stickers all over them. He left a bottle here and I have used it for all sorts of things. I have not used it as a spray though because it goes everywhere..I use it in a paper towel.
