I'm sure this was addressed by you guys before now.

However, I just today realized they are also charging an additional $8.95 on top of the shipping and handling both ways.

I lost a few ounces while I've been recooperating from my fall. I'm still not totally 'with the program', I call it.

Between QVC sending things that were to go to my daughter (but came to me); and wrong size etc, I've had to send quite a lot of things back!

I'm still trying to figure out what fits and what fits where.

I just called CS And she said yes but it depends on the reason.

So I bought my daughter some Temptations that was $19.95. Well by the time they subtract it (wrong color and went to me was supposed to go to her), it's almost to the point where I'll owe them MORE money to take it back.

Anyway, I think if I'd been coming on here with you ladies like I used to, I'd have seen that. Like I always say, "Live and learn".

I will try to come on here more often so I don't miss this stuff.😘

@Annabellethecat66 I've purchased several items over the last few weeks and have not seen that charge. I wonder what it is?

Maybe for check processing, running your card multiple times, expedited shipping, returns on something customized? That is really interesting and I'm curious on what it could be as well. If they start putting another charge on my orders of $8.95, that will probably really curtail my shopping here.

There isn't an extra charge other than shipping and return shipping. The return shipping is sometimes deducted as a separate charge now, though. Which I think can be confusing.

However, if you paid for your own return and they charge you for their return label, you need to contact customer service for a refund of that charge.

OMG! So I went back to some temptations I'm returning.

It now says on my printout this verbatim..

"$10.95 will be deducted from your refund or merchandise credit along with the original shipping and handling."

So I checked that I wanted refund to my original payment which is a Debit card (same as cash).

When I checked "Not good value"; that amount is what came up.

I tried also, "Wrong color ordered". I was being honest by saying "I ordered the wrong color". My daughter likes gray not taupe.

I KNOW the first on I'm returning said $8.95. Maybe it's the amount of refunds? I have no idea.

It might be this one that was only $19.95 to start with. I know one was $8.95 and this is now $10.95.

I told CS lady that I get a lot of compliments on my Isaac bright clothes. I send so many people to QVC; but I'm going to be rethinking that!

I told her I realize she just has to deal with the public. However if she's asked to please say I was Avery dissatisfied customer.

@Annabellethecat66 In addition to what others have said about QVC only charges to ship to you, and for you to ship it back to them (unless you pay that fee yourself at the PO)---If the reason for the return is QVC's MISTAKE, they should not be deducting shipping from your return.

The "original shipping and handling" is the charge to ship to you. That is always deducted, unless the problem is QVC's fault.

The $10.95 is the return shipping fee. Which should be on the QVC return label. Which is also always charged unless the problem is QVC's fault.

I don't know if the return fee has gone up since you first ordered some of your items, however.

You are being charged for using their return label plus you don't get your original shipping & handling fee back. I think this is what you are asking.

@catter70 I think the 8.95 is the return fee for heavy or even for awkward-sized packages. Otherwise the return fee is 6.95. It's not a new and different charge although for anyone who hasn't been shopping for a couple of years, I suspect it feels new and different.

If it was Temptations she returned, it was a heavy package and would have warranted the $10.95 charge rather than the usual charge of $6.95 to return a garment.

@Annabellethecat66 Returns are costly. You paid $3.50 or more (probably more) to have the item sent to you plus you were charged to return it to QVC since the reason for the return was your error.

Moral to the story: Dont order unless You're absolutely sure of the size and color. On inexpensive items, it may be cheaper to ditch the item rather than return it

That is the same thing @Kachina624 said. And what I said. You are charged shipping both ways unless it's a QVC error.

Or unless you pay return shipping yourself.
