Tribute To Queen Elizabeth Handmade Doll

I saw this doll on eBay this week and thought it was such a nice "tribute" to Queen Elizabeth as the crafter noted in her details.

She captured the essence of the Queen quite well in her crafting.

The creator stated she was only going to do this one doll and no more like her would be produced so the auction was active all week. It sold for $431.00.

I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the pictures of the doll as I did.

Somebody would have to pay me $431 to motivate me to take that doll home. As a handcrafted item, it's charming. But no way worthy of that kind of money. As a tribute to the late Queen, it's a miss, just in my opinion.

But art and beauty and even tributes are in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure the winning bidder treasures that doll.

It's a cute doll but no different than the handmade Cabbage Patch dolls that sold for 10% of that. I sure don't need any more stuff in my home.

While I would not pay so much, that doll is adorable and, to me, a good fit for Her Majesty.
