Has Anyone Tried AMAZON FRESH?

I received an email saying they're in the area and will deliver groceries, other items and restaurant food, same day, free with an order of $35 or more.

Sounds great, you can order in the morning and have it get to you by dinner time.

"Free 30 day trial."

Does anyone know how much it costs after the free trial time period?

Never heard of it Noel, but there are times when that would be wonderful. Hope someone here can tell you about it.

I'm interested, for sure. We had the flu last year and used Amazon prime for speedy delivery of Puffs tissue and a few other items.

Target seems to have stopped carrying my fave cereal so I ordered 8 boxes from Amazon a week or so ago.

I wonder how good a job they do with produce.

I checked it out and it's not available in my area, but I would think it would be worth checking on. I've always had great experiences with Amazon and would think they would be just as helpfull with food purchases. Trial run maybe?

Doesn't seem to be available in my area, but Safeway delivers here. I've used Safeway delivery a few times. Convenient, but there always seemed to be one item that wasn't good (not fresh or some other reason).

Hmmm...Looks like Amazon has decided to try to compete with Peapod.

I've used Peapod and been satisfied, but competition could be a good thing.

I've been saying for several years there's money to be made in services like this. People don't always have the time to shop, or a car, and some are ill or elderly.

I saw a van the other day advertising that it was a mobile pet grooming service, credited with recommendations, etc. Great idea, imo.

we have that in our area also......along with some smaller family run upscale grocery stores that will deliver also. sometimes it is a GREAT service.

Its not in our area. I am in a hicktown in PA. We don't even have pizza, sandwiches, Chinese food, or ANY delivery here..lol.

It's only in very specific locations right now: Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco. I'm not far from SF but it's not available to me.
