Good for that Judge. Her attorney wanted a month in jail and then 7 months house confinment. Prosceutors wanted 9 months.

Judge was nope, 18 months and 36 months supervision. She also has to pay $310,000.00 for money she took from Victims Fund and Go Fund Me.

Her attorney was disappointed w/18 months. Oh well, her family was disappointed when she disappeared. They were disappointed when they found out she faked her kidnapping. Folks were disappointed they gave money to fake victim. Police were disappointed she took time and resources from real victims.

Throw her butt in the cell and walk away. I have 0 sympathy for her.

This is good news. From the moment that story broke and all those "selfie" type photos most knew something was off with this woman. I feel bad for her family to be put through that ordeal.

When she was "found" and she said 2 Hispanic women kidnapped her I said to my husband, "She sounds like that #&^%* Susan Smith blaming 2 black men, she's full of it".

People of her ilk are why my charity money goes to people I know or organizations I can at least have a fighting chance of knowing they are legimate.

I can't believe she really thought she could pull this off. Does she not watch the news or Dateline? They weren't going to just welcome her back and not investigate it.

she probably won't get a hard core jail or prison anyway. She'll probably end up in a posh prison.

She still got a hand slap for what she did. And worse, she won't be paying the restitution amount because she says shes broke and any money she had is in her husbands account.

@giova She will have to do something once she gets out of the slammer. Well, unless she finds herself a sugar daddy.

If she tries to wrote a book I guess the first $310 grand will go toward what she owes. Same with any movie she may be involved in. Heck, they can garnish her SS for all I care, get how you can.

@giovaI wouldn't think it was just a hand slap as it was much more time then she thought that the judge was going to give her,she looked very scared walking into court yesterday,judge did not feel she was sincere in her statement,or even take responsibility for what she did.

Think she was under the impression that her lawyer probably told her you will do a month or so and then house arrest. BACKFIRED for sure.

Heard her husband is divorcing her and filing for full custody of the 2 boys which he will probably be awarded,so there is another slap .

And was also ordered to payback a large amount of money,so in my eyes she got what she deserved.

Just finished watching the 24 minutes of hidden camera footage of when the authorities confronted her with the evidence. She tried to keep up the lie even with all the stuff laid out in front of her. Fox News site. Buckets of tears.
